Mings. Every game. The guy is absolutely stealing a living at this level. Can't believe he is anywhere near the England team.

Well, it is picked by the waistcoatwanker.

Anyway, Bernie's turn to say "pick that out".

Mings had control of the ball, how can a tackle be offside?

Because he gained an advantage by being offside.

Mings may have known he was there, but used his chest on the presumption he wouldn’t challenge because he knew he (City player) was offside or if he did challenge the flag would go up.

He made no attempt to the win the ball until Villa had possession, he didn't actually interfere with play.

I’d suggest making a challenge on the blind side of a defender is interfering. If he’s onside Mings clears or he doesn’t make the challenge.

City have gained an advantage by being offside.

Villa would have much rather taken the free kick rather than play on.

But the challenge came after Mings had the ball, that's when he interfered with play.

Didn’t we have a similar (ish) situation when Kayal fouled an offside player and a pen was given against us against Leicester ?

He wasn’t offside because he never touched it ... but if he hadn’t been in an offside position the ball would have rolled out of play and no need for the challenge.

Mings had no idea he was there because the player was behind him. The city player gained an advantage from being in an offside position.

No Sympathy as they are only in the league because of a bad decision.

But that was an awful decision. No where near onside and they will come out and say as much in a couple of months.

In the meantime no doubt you will get the usuall lot telling you there was no issue a bit like Connellys pen against Everton.
