Sharing an opinion that isn’t fully blue tinted is becoming less and less tolerated on here.

I’ve actually applauded and given thumbs up to many a post that is decidedly “anti” Potter.

Difference is these are guys who bring stats to the table with a well informed and reasoned argument.

People just laying out abuse to our manager for ‘only’ getting a point away at West Ham. Or for general incoherency, over the top swearing hysteria should have their comments challenged, and rightfully so.

Would love to listen in on the next meeting between TB and GP. Would hope there’d be “What can we give you in January in terms of player options?”.

Our two weaknesses are glaring, it seems almost every NSC’er is agreed on that.

Honestly, I couldn’t disagree more. A lot of people are raising valid points about zonal marking and other defensive deficiencies etc but people that don’t want to read it just see it as moaning or unjust criticism.

Happy with discussing systems, tactics etc. But there has been a lot of slagging off of Potter, Maupay, Trossard, White etc. We should win as a team (whenever that happens) and lose as a team, not pick on individuals. Everyone of us makes mistakes, and if people were actually not trying, as some have suggested, then we wouldn't be in the position where "we should have beaten" these teams. Understand the frustration, but hate accusing individuals.

I don't think WH are that much better than Brighton, but there was only one manager going for the win towards the end and only one who will be fighting relegation. That's not a coincidence. I'm not Potter out, but his subs are far too negative and often come too late (and by then are forced changes).

That said, a point away from home isn't a disaster and Muapay got a goal, so there are definitely positives to take from it.

Subs negative, or not a great bench to pick from?

No EPL goals or form players in there at all.

Yep seeing your team let in set piece game after game and complaining about it means you know nothing about football. I’d suggest it’s the happy clappers that haven’t got a clue.

I’d suggest it is you who doesn’t get football at PL level. The manager is more than good enough, the problem is the players. We don’t have the players to compete at this level. Blame the chairman for playing moneyball. I can live with relegation, which is a real possibility but no way is Potter to blame for the player’s shortcomings. We are set up to play some of the best football in the PL but the defenders let us down game after game. Bloom’s dream has gone pear shaped due to lack of quality investment on the player front.

I can live with it, we have a fantastic stadium and academy but we fall short on the quality required of first team players required at this level. In no way is Potter responsible for the failings imo. Bring on the Championship.

Lallana is a MASSIVE disappointment to me. Lets’s just play Alzate, at least he’ll improve whereas Lallana is going through the motions on a last big pay cheque. I haven’t been so disappointed in a player for years.

But you appreciate all the people that you follow around calling out their opinions disagree with your stance, and find it quite loathsome constantly being told they’re wrong despite posting perfectly valid content?

Totally agree about Lallana. He is our player yes, but it's short term. He is a wonderful player, but he is keeping out Alzate, Mac and a few others who we've spent decent money and time on and who are the future of the club.

I think there’s a lot ‘lumping together’ going on here, anyone who disagrees or has a different viewpoint immediately gets branded with the outspoken fools who say sensationalist things just for the sake of it, it’s like a kind of censorship or something. Not saying it’s intentional, but as someone who is in the fence it’s hard to read the very one sided opinions being broadcast on here.

Go back and check all of your posts from today or directly after every match, you’ve labelled the Potter In-Out Poll as pathetic because you don’t like it, you are outraged at multiple people in the match day thread as they had the cheek to say we defended badly etc.

I’m starting to think Tony may be accepting of relegation as part of the process. This is all a long term plan to be self sustaining.

The fact we barely spent a penny in the last window is a warning sign.

That said, we still have a very good chance of staying up I think. And if I had to put my house on it, I wouldn’t have us finishing in the bottom 3.

A classic ‘you’re wrong and I’m right post’.

Quite possibly. He is undoubtably a better businessman than me.

No real way of proving this either way (unless we change manager) but I'm convinced we have the players to be far more productive than we are. I simply don't believe Palace, Newcastle or Leeds for example have better squads than us. The best managers get the absolute most from the players they have at their disposal. Potter simply isn't doing that at the moment.

Your more of a crackpot than me if your willing to put your house on avoiding relegation. I suggest you try a bit of camping in your garden in preparation
