But he sets the tactics, and has final say on transfers as per Hughton (allegedly), so whether everyone here likes it or not he has to take responsibility as well.

I think most people would have accepted a point from this fixture, it was a reasonable result at the end of the day.

I agree. I think it's a very good point in the Grand Scheme of things. I hadn't realised how big and powerful almost everyone on their side is. Defending set pieces against them would always be difficult.

Play like that against lesser physical sides and should have no problems staying up.

Arsenal will be nowhere near as physically strong as West Ham were. Onwards to the next match. Can't dwell on negatives. Concentrate on the positives.

It really was. As ridiculous as Dunk’s attempted header was, White’s role was disastrous.

Honestly, I couldn’t disagree more. A lot of people are raising valid points about zonal marking and other defensive deficiencies etc but people that don’t want to read it just see it as moaning or unjust criticism.

Both Souchek and that guy at Saints are set piece specialists. And both score against us.
That IS about coaching and the way our team is set up.

Clearly evident and a sensible move.

West Ham had taken control of the midfield. He decided to flood that area of the park.

It worked, although it made the ending more tepid.

That's why he is manager and we are not.

I don't think WH are that much better than Brighton, but there was only one manager going for the win towards the end and only one who will be fighting relegation. That's not a coincidence. I'm not Potter out, but his subs are far too negative and often come too late (and by then are forced changes).

That said, a point away from home isn't a disaster and Muapay got a goal, so there are definitely positives to take from it.
