It creates an atmosphere. Too many Brighton fans are way too negative. The press pick up on it the players pick up on it potential signings pick up on it.
The fans also need a rocket up our arsed as we have been piss poor this season.

You can lay the blame at the front three, but I think that our tempo has slowed down all over the pitch, allowing the opposition to organise themselves. Sanchez seems better than Ryan at throwing the ball out earlier, but we don’t capitalise on this. I’m not sure that today would have been Lamptey’s type of game, but we were woeful down the right in the first half.

Really? Went deathly silent at times and you could hear the groaning.

Ah, I see the fans are today's target for blame.

Exactly... the haters won’t say that of course.

You continually show contempt for anyone that thinks Potter is not quite good enough.

Stop embarrassing yourself and being so sanctimonious. Potter is a good man but there's no progress under him - as you seem to be so obsessed with.

It’s probably us (and Arsenal) that are in the worst form in the league, something has to change to rectify that. Either a bit of luck (we’ve had none) or a new signing or perhaps the ultimate silver bullet a new manager.

We need to arrest this slide quickly.

I still think SU are in worse form than us!

I ****ing love the championship tbf.

The problem our fanbase have is there are too many premier league groupies looking to sack the manager all the time.

Does anyone seriously think that Eddie ****ing Howe would be getting better results?

I don't mind being relegated. I do mind that we seem to be heading for it without putting up a fight.

The main issue for me remains the recruitment. Whoever thought Ali J and Locadia were worth a combined £30M+ needs shooting. Everyone could see our lack of quality in the final third was the main problem last year and we’ve done nothing to address it.

Bloom had to take responsibility.
If you aren’t prepared to go to the next level on wages and transfer then all u get is championship at best players . Take a good long hard look out there how many players would other teams take ... not many

Maupay & Connolly need to be benched for Welbeck & Zequiri.
Our problems are inability to score goals from our forwards and midfield.
Whether that is missing easy chances or not being hitting the target with shots outside.
Stat on Sky says we have ZERO goals from set pieces this season.
I am not for replacing Potter but accept we are a struggling Premiership Team and have been since we were promoted.

We just scored from a set piece...

We did sign Wellbeck and Lallana on big wages. And they are clearly two of our best players.

well we know that wont happen. Actually thats the first match i ever recall us having FIVE attackers on the pitch at the same time: Trossard, Zequiri, Connolley, Welbeck , AJ

Lallana was up there too most of the time. Six players getting in each other's way. There is no way we had practiced that in training. Playing with six attackers... No strategy at all...

If he is so out of his depth why are they not in the relegation zone?

Did Brighton deserve to win today? The answer is clearly yes. Potter can lead a horse to water, but he can't make it drink. The players clearly buy into the style of play, they consistently get into fantastic goalscoring positions, the manager cannot legislate for supposed PL level players missing sitters from 4 yards out.

Did we deserve to win today ? Lol if the ball is not on target or in the net then no .
90 mins of the same old shite tippy tippy everyone afraid to shoot
Premier league players is the point they are mostly not I’m afraid
Potter leading a horse for water bet he would get even that wrong or take it the long way round
One home win in a year ? Happy with that ?

Plus it’s always harder against 10 men.
Potter quickly needs to find a system that works at home, because we’re really struggling to break down teams who lie deep. I think we’re probably a better away team as we don’t have to take the initiative, just counter. Playing against 10 really shows up our weakness when it’s up to us to make the running.

We need a major rethink, what we’re doing at the moment isn’t working.

Agree, he's too loyal for his own good. But the time has come imho. Potter is a good man, he knows how to play possession football, I really dont see any plan at all without the ball, we're just too easy to play against, not much defensive organisation, clueless on set pieces at both ends. This may have been ok in Sweden, where opposition teams would not punish mistakes so often as the quality is much less, but he's just not complete enough or his managerial repetoire is simply too limited. He doesnt know how to win scrappy, we are not moving forwards in many areas, half the team looks shot of confidence, and the constant changes to players and systems is confusing.

This squad is good enough, with January around the corner, I fear if TB isnt ruthless now, we will surely go down this year and then the loss of money and player exodus will destroy all the work done thus far.

Potter does seem out of his depth, but then the jump was huge. We don't have time for him to learn on the job and he is failing massively.

New manager bounce needed, defensive organisation needed, confidence needed, set piece coaching needed.

Total respect to TB for giving rookie managers a shot at the top table. Always comes back to bite him in tbe bum tho

Yet another corner - sigh

Does anyone know when we last scored from a corner? And how many we've had since then?

Like the man from Sky said: " if only Brighton were good at set pieces".

Unlucky to go down with the injuries he had.
