it is minor and they make very little difference. as long as you dont cough in anyones face, they'll all be fine at the school gate. they aren't any use for protecting you, unless you're using the medical grade ones.

Does wearing one give any protection to others from any nasty respiratory spread things I could have?

If so I will continue to wear one should I need to be near to other people - for their sake. Surely that’s the common sense and socially responsible thing to do

How many minutes after Corbyn's gaff do you imagine he should have waited before agreeing to Corbyn's suspension (triggered by processes he had set up for swift action over twits)? How many seconds after Rebecca Long Bailey has made an absurd comment about Mossad should he have waited to sack her from the shadow cabinet?

Starmer is a clever man, waiting till his enemies put their head above the parapet, then dispatching them with minimum fuss and mess. So much so he's completely whooshed you it would appear. Never mind.

By the way, I hadn't realised you were a jock.

If you had stopped and thought for a second you would have realised the context in which my post was made. Starmer couldn’t provide an answer this morning when Andrew Marr asked him if he thought Corbyn would be allowed back in the Labour Party.

Is there something relevant about being a jock? Carry on.

I think that it has become abundantly clear that he is very expensively educated, but not too bright. I understand that the thing that finally made up Johnson's mind on this lockdown was when they told him they may need to use Ice rinks as mortuaries. I've also been told elsewhere that in presentations to him, simple examples have to be given as he struggles with concepts.

I saw a slide a long while back which I was told was part of a presentation on Exports after Brexit made to him, explaining the roles of am English producer, a Lorry Driver and an EU importer. If it was true (and I can't imagine why it would have been mocked up), and presented to me when I was in business, my first reaction would have been 'are you taking the piss ?'

All evidence I have seen is that Johnson can't do concepts or figures and has to be given very simple examples in order to explain to him.

Lucky he's not in a position of any importance then

You are correct. When he was mayor he turned up with his team to a planning meeting with some people in a company who are friends of one of my pals. Boris spent 15 minutes fiddling with his phone, then said he had to leave. After he'd gone his team said along the lines of 'thank **** for that, now we can actually get the work done'.

It is worth watching again that video made this year of him demonstrating how he would get an overn ready deal with the EU by baking something in an oven.

The man is a jackass. I can't believe I gave him the benefit of the doubt after the delay to lockdown the first time around (I defended him on here, FFS!). Let's not forget we are going to stumble out of the EU in January with no deal, breaking our own laws with respect to the Irish border. It's like having Eric Cartman in charge of Southpark school.

Reminds me of a story about some UKIP types winning council seats and being so thick they struggled to understand how some of the meetings worked and were also challenged by the language.

The inference was clearly there in your mention of Starmer leaving the scene of an RTA... Oh and he knows the Law, nudge nudge, wink wink!

I couldn’t give less of a shit about random strangers interpretation of what I write on a football forum, save perhaps @Guinnessboy... he has the biggest mod stick.

Strange, I could have sworn this was an open forum for anyone to read and comment on. If you don't like that openness maybe you should PM people so only they can read it...

Confirms how easy it is to run the country when you are not in government

Yep, this totally. I'm sure they would be making the same decisions being made now by Johnson and being equally ridiculed by most. Mind you they have a internal civil war to deal with now. A step back away from the left might get my vote back

Where have I suggested Sir Kier has broken any laws?

Your suggestive post of him knowing the law.
He exchanged details with the cyclist, and a witness, who happened to be an off duty PCSO, and waited until the paramedics arrived. The police have said no further action to be taken.

Now, what were you saying?

Being a (minor) officer in the Labour Party and having read the EHRC report Starmer wouldn't comment on Corbyn's suspension as the party was criticised for political interference in the disciplinary process.

Keir Starmer and medical advisors stated the lockdown should have happened three weeks ago, but were ridiculed for it.
Once again Johnson has delayed, just like he did in March.

Yep, how many lives will have been lost by both those delays...

I agree no-one would have got it all right, but it's the delays, when pretty much everyone is telling him what to do that makes Boris a stand out scapegoat in the whole of this sorry mess.

He couldn't even get to his own press conference on time FFS

Hopefully he will get chased by the no win no fee brigade now for damages. I'm would think the guy has had loads of calls on this. Where there is blame there's a claim

Was he to blame? I thought all cyclists were irresponsible according to Nsc.

He’s that clever that he left the scene of an rta, still it’s not like he’s had any experience of the Law eh...

Yes so clever he correctly followed the legal requirements.

A spokesman for Starmer said: “Keir was involved in a minor road traffic accident on Sunday.

“He spoke to a British Transport Police officer who attended the scene and swapped details with the officer and the other individual involved.

“Keir stayed at the scene until the ambulance arrived. Later that afternoon, he reported the incident to a police station in accordance with the law. Since the incident, Keir has also been in touch with the other individual involved.”

If only someone like Grealish had the same intelligence not to leave the scene of an accident, without reporting it, and providing insurance details when requested by interested parties.
