It’s about managing a game not throwing the kitchen sink at it. 3 away goals and losing is schoolboy football stuff. Not saying it wasn’t entertaining but Potter has a stronger focus on each point being a big prize.

I thought Leeds played very well, Liverpool looked a little rusty. Salah looked sharp though and we’ve seen that VVD headed goal before!

Same. Bored of the whole Leeds thing now. Their fans on social media were entertaining over summer with little else to entertain us football wise, now I couldn't really care less. They look like they'll be a decent addition to the Prem in terms of entertainment. Genuinely interested to see whether they can keep their intensity up over a season in the top division.

Some thoughts (no, I haven't read the whole thread):

- The most important thing: Koch is actually pronounced "C0CK"!!! Brilliant.
(I thought it would be pronounced "coke").
The Leeds fans have embraced Koch, and so on...

- Leeds had 6 shots, 3 on target, and 3 goals.
Meanwhile Liverpool had 22 chances, 6 on target, and 4 goals.
Just as you can be "unlucky", I think Leeds were pretty "lucky" in this instance. To get 3 goals out of those stats is quite miraculous.

- Liverpool looked rusty. Particularly Van Dijk.
This stat is actually insane:

- I suspect Bielsa spent a LOT of time prepping for this particular game.
Hopefully they'll slip up at Fulham without their maestro, Ben White.

- Kalvin Phillips actually looks alright though, to be fair.

But, of course, I hope they go down.
I hope we beat them.
I hope their stupid fans turn on Bielsa and he leaves and they have a meltdown.

We scored three goals at Anfield and had more possession than Liverpool, something no team did last season.

But I am hugely disappointed. Gutted. The first goal was never a penalty, admittedly but to come away without getting a point just wasn't good enough. We should have seen the game through but our defence was woeful. Keystone cops.

Maybe you understand a little more why we rate Bielsa so highly, though? That is how football should be played, and that is his philosophy. Always commit players to the attack.
