Explain why we didn't keep him in our squad last summer then please, and instead of £20m on Webster, we could have strengthened elsewhere?

His experience was with League 2 and then a part loan to League 1.
Webster had good Championship experience.

£25m seems great money for a player who at 21 years old we didn't think was good enough for our PL squad, and we instead splashed £20m on bringing Webster in and loaning White out.
:ffsparr: He hadn't played in the championship and Webster had. It has been a long and careful development by the club. They know what they are doing.

Because we wanted him to get experience at Championship level first. We didn’t get him to sign a new contract and then loan him to a side who would be challenging for automatic promotion as we thought he wouldn’t be up to PL football.

We have dealt with Ben Whites development exceptionally.

This is going on No evidence of White at training ground and cant be at Leeds training ground. Can only assume waiting to see if Dunk goes to Chelsea. If he doesnt cant see them keeping Dunk,White and Webster because they will all want first team football and Potter wont play 3 at back every game

One injury is all it takes, or a red card.

Going by your reasoning none of our players want to play because there are no training photos.

It's a terrible business move. If White is as good as everyone says, 1 good season in the Premier League turns him into a £50M+ player. Also if Duffy goes we need another CB (probably) which could cost £10M-£20M so the 'net' result of it isn't that spectacular

I wouldn't sell him.

There is a difference for me saying a £25m for a 22 yr old who has just 46 tier 2 appearances under his belt is good money for him, and whether we should sell.

Let's just say Leeds missed out on promotion and White was their player, I'd be a bit shocked if we were offering more than £25m if the shoe was on the other foot tbh – I was pretty gobsmacked we paid what we did for Webster.

Is there any evidence of any of the players at the training ground? Please share the pictures etc.

You missed out answering the first part . Its a pantomime rivalry, not a sporting one

Best to post about things you understand:

and in case you think that's a bit dated:

'Nope For me it has been & always will be 1.Liverpool 2.Leeds 3.Arsenal & then City in terms of rivalry. Wow basically fans under 20 won’t know anything about the rivalry. Great games between us & great atmosphere.'

'Liverpool, Leeds, City. In that order.'

East Sussex doesn’t include Brighton & Hove. Many of our fans also live in West Sussex.

If not most! West Sussex is the larger of the Sussex sub regions. Most people in Sussex will consider Brighton their local team. The Goldstone was 2 miles from the boarder. The training ground now is in Lancing (West Sussex).

He was 22 years old last summer, he turns 23 in October. My worry is that we loaned him out when we should have been spotting his potential earlier. He's clearly an excellent player, and you have to wonder why it's taken until now for another side to prove he is up to it.

I’m good friends myself with someone he’s recently been away on holiday with is all I’ll say.

Imagine being mates with Aaron Connolly and asking him literally any other question than "WTF have you done to your hair, since when is Philip Schofield a style icon?" repeatedly.

We've always known his potential. The plan for his development is being stuck to.

He still hasn't proven he's up to Premier League standard. That comes next season.

As someone said before his development has been managed exceptionally well.

Leed's fans whining notwithstanding of course.

Of course we knew his potential. Defenders mature later than strikers. He was voted Player of the season at Newport County. He signed a new contract last July before he went out on loan, and refused to allow Leeds a loan to buy deal.
We have an excellent U23 manager in Simon Rusk, a director of football, Dan Ashworth who has worked with England youth teams, a loan manager Stewart Weir, a CEO Paul Barber who has worked with Spurs & the FA, (and Liverpool tried to poach from us) plus Tony Bloom as a chairman, yet you still don’t trust our club’s judgment?

The simple minded find it very easy to get administrative areas mixed up with the actual regions don't they though? Parts of Sussex come under the auspices of the Kent authority for instance.
