Indeed. The constant ‘doesn’t care about the money’ mantra, is funny. They are talking about a guy earning £6m/year. He’s literally one of the highest paid football managers in the world.

It may be true that he’s not one to covet material possessions (flat over a shop, blah, blah) but he is more than content to absolutely COIN it in.

Yes but he gives a lot of his salary away to his old club Newell's.

I have supported Leeds for more than five decades, going to my first match in 1969.

So I have seen a lot of managers come and go, a lot. Too many.

Bielsa is the best manager since Don Revie during all that time (and therefore in Leeds' whole history) in my view.

His side isn't anything like as good as the teams managed by Wilkinson or O'Leary, he hasn't got players of remotely their quality. Some of them were absolutely world class.

But as a manager only Revie was better.

Wasn't it these world class players you had, the cause of your drop to the 3rd division? Like Portsmouth, Leeds had players the club should never been able to afford.

I don't know how old you are but even if they are before your time you must heard of Jock Stein. Brian Clough. Two of the greatest managers in British football history. Both failed at Leeds...

Brian Clough wasn't a great manager for you therefore you didn't witness a great manager there. That's not how it works.

Biesla is your 2nd greatest manager. You said it yourself. I don't think you can then go on to say you've witnessed loads of great managers after that statement. It just proves how 2nd tier Leeds truly are.

To be fair, he was only there for about 40 days, maybe Killer Whale was recovering from eye surgery at the time.

It's also not really fair to say he failed at Leeds, but that's by the by.

Both managers were only at Leeds for a short time.

In the case of Clough 44 days before being sacked..Hardly given a chance was he? Mind you,his pay-off set him up for life.

I am sure Biesla is a good Manager as he got you out of the Championship ,and Ben White was a big part of that .The idea that Albion being a small club need the money for BW is not based on current reality .The clue is to look at what Tony Bloom has been trying to do with the Academy and find some good young players for the future so in the long term we don`t have to spend big money on bringing players in to stay in the Premier League and the ambition to get into the top ten .So at the moment IMO he would not want to sell BW even for 30 mill .BW is worth more to keep for us and see what happens next season .You need to move on from the BW situation you main priority is to survive the first season the big thing with the Premier League is if you make a mistake 3 passes and its in the back of the net as we have found out a few times .
