Correct.. still hoards of Leeds fans thinking they still have a chance.

New contract for Ben please with a number 3 shirt please.

Veltman was number 3 all his career at Ajax, so I guess he’ll get it. Would be funny though - revealed for the first time, in the brand new White away kit.

I wanted to start a petition for the club to give Ben the 3 shirt. But then that might get media attention and stop the club from doing it. So instead I am just quietly wishing for it to happen.

They're effectively playing poker against a professional poker player when their hand isn't playing cards but ones they've nicked from a game of Uno.
Swap deal for Mrs Bunn the Baker?

I thought he wore the 34 shirt ?

No. He wore 3.

But as others have reminded me - he has chosen 34 as his shirt here, in honour of his stricken former team-mate.

Don’t worry, window is open for another month...

Plenty of fun yet!

2 months!

"The transfer window opened the day after the season finished, on Monday, July 27. It will run for 10 weeks and closes on Monday, Oct. 5 before the UEFA competition squad deadline the following day.

However, there will be an additional, domestic window that continues through to 5 p.m. on Oct. 16 when clubs will only be able to trade (either loans or permanent registrations) with EFL teams (so not internationally or with other Premier League clubs)."

One The Leeds United fan earlier today tweeted- in response to the possibility of a £30m bid being rejected- that they should offer us.....£30m, with £20m up front, and £10m dependent on things like England caps.

If you think that sounds stupid, no, I haven't typed it wrong.

This is really, really hard for them to get their heads round, isn't it?

You could get an email into Barber. If any fan objects say now, or forever hold your peace!

Sky Sports is no longer on my 'reliable' list- which is ever decreasing these days.

Maybe a popular hashtag, with a range of t-shirts and mugs bearing the legend #threeBenWhite

Remember Villa fans when they came up last year?

Same shit.

And Norwich.

We also saw it from Fulham and Wolves in previous years ( with some reason in the latter case).

I genuinely don't recall us doing that when we were promoted. Nor TBF did I see it from Newcastle or Huddersfield. It must be a recent thing and certainly not based on experience.

I’d so love us to make a derisory bid for Philips.
