Rather sad that our highest partnership in the innings is for the last wicket.

Fighting back. Still in with a shout here.

It has all been a ploy to soften them up for a Meaker & Claydon counter-punch. A quick extra 100 runs from this pair and then skitlte Kent for under 50 tomorrow.

Is there time to declare and leave a couple of tricky overs for their openers tonight?

Indeed - and all this without the 70 year old Darren Stevens' usual helpful 5 wicket for zero runs intervention.

Quoting myself here, but I not that 70 year Mr Stevens has, once agin, made complete twats of the Sussex batting line-up with yet another 5 wicket haul - how he must relish playing minor counties like Sussex.

The clue is in the Sussex starting line ups.
We are a one man team atm.

And also,as I pointed out earlier, Hampshire were missing six of their first choice players

We're a one man bowling team but Salt scored two 50s against Hants

Still I'm sure Laurie Evans enjoyed his little holiday in sarf London. Not sure why we aren't playing Ravi.
