Depends what is meant by 'hate' speech. If it's the legal definition then the mods would already sanction or ban people for expressing those views so what other speech do people want to censor?

We have a few regular posters who sail close to the wind fairly frequently imo.

I don't advocate bans unless someone clearly crosses the line. Let them embarrass themselves and have their views challenged.

Yes, spot on. To note, restrictions on free speech are becoming quite popular now, and many social media platforms are implementing new regulations on hate speech, or at least floating them. To also note, historically the far right have pitted themselves against liberalism and the ideas it promotes, such as free speech; the far right's latest iteration, by contrast, have used liberal notions such as free speech to attack other groups, ditto with egalitarianism (feminism, LGBTi+, etc).

The far right have become quite clever in how they use language. They tend to avoid hate speech unless they're on specific platforms and, instead, engage in a dog whistle-style approach. The most obvious current example involves insisting that 'All Lives Matter' or 'White Lives Matter'. Ditto claiming that blacks are 'racist' to whites, and that men have been subjected to 'sexism'.
