Celtic’s Odsonne Edouard is a cracking player. Would
Be delighted if we signed him.

I love the look of this fella. Another ex-PSG like Yapi & Guendouzi.

However, I’m not sure he’ll be in our price range with Leicester reportedly willing to spunk £30m+ for a Rogers reunion.

The man I want in to replace Murray long term is this monster of a man. A Murray/Carroll hybrid, this absolute weapon is pretty good with his feet as well as being deadly with this head.

We’ve be rumoured to have inquired after this destructive giant. I hope Bloom shoots his wad to get him!

If the last few seasons are anything to go by, we will, as usual, be signing a striker that very few people have ever heard of, straight from an obscure European league, for a modest amount of money.

It's Uncle Tony's way.

It usually is but he went safer last season and maupay has worked out well so far.

I think logically, Mitrovic is the man. Although we may need to splash out on some counselling sessions for him and White after the other day

That's a hard watch. Some one is trying to be too creative with the editing tools!

I think Potter wants options, something different, but we need someone that can play with Maupay or Connolly, or as a lone striker. I'd love to see Callum Wilson here; he bagged 14 in 30 matches last season when Fraser and Brooks were providing the ammo.

I'd also be up for making West Ham a cheeky offer of Duffy plus cash for Haller.

I would not take the opinion of NSC on a player as people here are notorious for not being able to spot or judge players.

Trying to read through a decent thread when you appear is like watching a good film on TV and some :censored:changes the channel to Eastenders

Haller cost WetSham close to £45 millon so we would only need to spalsh £44 million on the deal.:lolol: I agree with Callum Wilson, but can see him at a club like Everton or Wolves unfortunately.

I'll be interested to see how the next transfer window works out in terms of Covid 19 and the football food chain.

I expect many League 1 and 2 sides will have to sell their best assets to survive. It could be a buyer's market.

As a Swede I might be a bit biased, but reportedly 3-5 million punds for Union Berlin's Sebastian Andersson is quite a steal and at that price he'd slot in nicely as a "second" signing of a striker (I wouldn't mind a more proven forward as the first signing). More or less trustworthy sources are saying Brighton and Valencia have been poking around, and in interviews he's clearly stated that PL is the dream.

Sure, the dude is a late bloomer and didn't really hit his stride until this season (he's 28). But he's fantastic in the air, hard working and would be quite a differently shaped piece of the puzzle for GP to use.

12 goals (of which seven were headers) and five assists in the Bundesliga so far this season, playing for (imho) a rather shitty team.

This sounds good, yes please.

The type of signing that would have me wishing so badly that Ben’s Grandad were still around.

Can already see him trying to google the right way to pronounce Odsonne Edouard on his Omsung Phine. RIP.

For the names bandied around so far I’d take a look at Anderrson for sure and I’d give Ivan Toney a massively wide berth.

Kudos to Darragh MacAnthony for the way his business model works. Ensure manager knows that the tactics have to be score as many as possible at all costs and ignore the gaping holes in your defence to every season produce a striker that scores 20-40 goals and can be sold on for £3-6m to balance the books even if it means the club yo-yos around the League one top 6.

There isn’t one that’s come off that production line that had a properly fruitful career after leaving Posh.
