Priti also a couple of years ago said she found the term BAME quite insulting because she was born in Britain & considers herself British first . I think that type of mindset is probably why she has succeeded in her career . Gets on with it .

Firstly Priti was not sacked , she resigned . Her resignation letter is Still available to see. She did have some unauthorised meetings with high ranking Israeli officials whilst she was on holiday in Israel . The meetings were to do with trade and development and it is important to remember that Israel is a close ally of the UK & they have numerous meetings so whilst what she did was unauthorised it wasn’t done with any bad intent . But yes she should have followed normal procedures .

To be fair the murder of Becky Watts, who was killed and dismembered by her step brother with her body parts stored in suitcases, caught red handed with no doubt on who committed the crime is a certain candidate for being executed in my view.

My only problem with execution is that we need to employ someone to kill the killer, which is a moral issue, other than that, in extreme cases which includes body dismemberment and not disclosing where the body of the the deceased lays, I am all for it.

I don’t have any secret knowledge , there’s lots of articles from the media if you google it that confirm generally what the nature of the meetings were . She was perhaps trying to show off her trade and development skills a little too much . But the intent clearly was good otherwise Boris would def not have forgiven her so quickly nor given her a cabinet position. It’s also no secret that there is lots of co operation & meetings with Israel ( & UAE) often about security in the region and with Israel specifically about military and defence stuff as well as health/ medical etc as they are one of the leaders in these fields . Priti was probably trying to smooze on her own without govt officials which she shouldn’t have done . By smooze I mean butter up the Israeli officials to get a good deal for the UK.
