Is this going to turn out to be a Daily Mail style hyperbole?

I’d be scared if I were in a 3 metre sailing boat in the Atlantic but I think this could be a case of more media hysteria

An ideal day for a stroll along the prom tomorrow to enjoy the sea air.

All the sea air delivered into your face in one go, no less

A bit blowy here in RH20 but got to drive to Yorkshire later on no matter what, think I'll keep as far to the East of the Country as possible M11 / A1 etc..

Hope the Dartford Crossing is OK, they have been known to close the Southbound (Bridge) lanes in high winds.

Sounds like a great day to go down the seafront beachcombing.
Used to be a time when you could pick a few crabs and the odd Lobster.

EDIT: For anyone else travelling that way the Bridge is indeed closed, so round the West side and then up the A1(M) it is for me...

Burgess Hill
Landing at Heathrow was fine, not even that bumpy really, but lots of flights cancelled when we arrived - big contingent of staff meeting the flight to deal with those who had connections booked. Drive back to Burgess Hill was worse in fact, very blustery.......Fair delay leaving the plane though as they needed to get Coronavirus ‘health clearance’ apparently.

Lot of fuss about not much if you ask me. So it's a bit windy. It's known as weather. Reports in the media of "travel chaos". Where?

As the weather girl on the BBC said yesterday, this weekend there’s going to be a lot of weather. Insightful at best.

A trampoline has blown onto the railway line. It doesn’t take much in this country to cause chaos in fairness. Once all those crisp packets in hedgerows start swirling Parliament will have to sit on a Sunday.

West is BEST
700 bus is running on single deckers and my scented candle got blown out when I opened the front door. We’re coping.

To be fair, it’s pretty blowy out there. Sea looks fierce and impressive. With nothing between my place and the sea the seagull shit is getting nicely cleaned off my windows.

I've been watching the Heathrow, Gatwick and Luton Radars and theres been 50 plus missed approaches, loads trying to divert into Stansted and other airfields. From an air traffic perspective it's pretty chaotic
