Why is Parkinson in the team what is he supposed to offer? Moeen Ali would have probably done better and that is saying something.

He is the most prolific wicket taker in domestic white-ball cricket for the past two seasons... and took 1-14 and 4-47 in the recent NZ T20 series.

And he is young and learning his craft as an international leg spinner.

While I agree with you about Ben Stokes and his influence on the game...

I know you love a statistic...

Last 10 ODI innings:

Ben Stokes 395
Jonny Bairstow 519

[emoji23]
How many wickets has Bairstow taken in those last 10 matches?

Been busy today and forgot about this one so just caught up.

Looks like we could do with a wicket or two.

Absolutely abysmal performance from England, normal service has been resumed.

Could be wrong, but I can't remember England losing an ODI series for some considerable time.

Edit: India 2016/17

Archer out for 3 months at least with a stress fracture to his elbow, had a scan prior to the tests which showed nothing, sent back home for a more sophisticated scan and they found a stress fracture.

Means he will miss the entire Sri Lanka tour and his big bucks IPL contract. Shocking management from England, totally unacceptable how much cricket he played in such a short space of time, needs must you could argue but a fair few of us said at the time, he’s being over bowled and over worked, turns out it was correct.

FFS. That is shoddy management.
