We need to sell in order to buy £25 million players.

We'd probably get decent fees for Bissouma and Pröpper if we are looking to revamp central midfield.

Glen Kamara is still available and his fee will only go up after Euro 2020.

The one I think would be ideal who's currently available is Wanyama. We could probably get him on the cheap too.

Maybe we could sign Ollie Norwood if Berge goes to Sheffield United, we are world champs at bringing back past their best ex players

Berge really wasn’t that impressive in the CL this season, but I remember a Genk fan on here raving about this guy a while ago.

If he’s an upgrade on Stephens then it’s a no brainier.

A striker should still be priority.

However we will end up with neither.

So far, no. He's had his moments and certainly scored some memorable goals. I haven't written him off yet and am hoping he plays a part in the rest of the season.

His pace is electric and would cause any defender problems. I would love to see him tested upfront. I wouldn't put it past Potter to give it a go.

Agreed.

When you see the impact Traore has had at Wolverhampton I wonder why he can't do something similar, just needs to stay fit and get some confidence, he's more skilful than Traore for me.

Things have been very easy for Sheffield Utd.

Get promotion then have a decent season. Simple.

On the other hand the Albion get promoted and have a 3 year relegation battle :nono:

Now Sheffield are successfully targeting a player who our recruitment team have already flagged up.

Oh well, good luck to them I suppose, they must be doing something right.

Paying the going rate helps.

Is it possible we’ve aligned ourselves with another target in the same position as Berge?

He wasn’t great in the CL and that combined with his transfer fee may have made another target a lot more appealing.

Let's hope so, yet I doubt it. I'm glad we didn't go for him at 27million, he would have been an even more expensive flop than Locadia but hey he will be an instant success at SU ???
