Clear that tings weren't right there but Mourinho? Yesterday's man, yesterday's football

Confirmation that Spurs have ‘left’ the top six to be replaced by Leicester. We should be targeting more points at their place with their new dinosaur football.

I wonder which Spurs player will be singled out for the witch hunt from the special one like he did with Shaw and Pogba at MUFC

WTF are Spurs doing? As OzMike says, he buys his way to trophies.

If he has a problem position, he can't help that particular player, just asks for a shed load of money to buy a replacement. Also, blames everyone but himself.

Feel very bad for Poch so here's hoping the Spuds implode.

What a huge backwards step. Bizarre appointment. Mourinho’s management is totally out of touch now, he’s a relic.

Very bad day for Spurs.

Pretty harsh considering he is only 56, started at 37 years old in 2000, has managed Benfica, Porto, Chelsea, Inter, Real Madrid and Man Utd, has won 25 major trophies and only two years ago won the Europa League and League Cup in the same season.
Still...you boys slagging him off know best
p.s Check out how United have done since he left. How many trophies Poch has won in his career, despite all the big talk and what Tottenham's trophy cabinet looks like since 1991.

I always felt Pochs reputation was flattered by all the goals Kane scored and in reality he's not quite as good as many think he is.

Mou will be a total disaster.

Mou should have gone abroad where I think he's more highly considered. Here we know him for failing at Man U with his dire ways and his last terrible season at Chelsea.

Question is will Spurs fans be happy to win a Cup at the expense of their style of football? Pretty sure United fans weren’t impressed even with the Cup wins and the ground out high placings

Hahaha. Fecking hilarious. Cant wait to see the meltdown when Jose gets 0 cash to spend.

Don't underestimate Levy. I suspect he may have calculated that if he can take the club to another level then the income will be off the scale. It was reported yesterday that citeh have eclipsed united in the income stakes.

Given that, how best get to the next level? Spend. Who's good at succeeding after spending? Maureen.

I think Levy knows exactly what he's doing.

Very good spot by certain posters, btw. That includes oldboyroy and BensGrandad

So stay as you are...play exciting and inconsistent football....win nothing ( and they won't under Poch )..... and lose ground to rivals..... or actually win something. Pretty sure Spurs fans want a trophy. Any trophy.
Have spoken to plenty of United fans who would rather be where they were under Mourinho to where they are now.
