Anyone caught taking a selfie for social media use will have their phone confiscated.

Anyone taking a picture of their dinner (or hot drink) for upload to social media will have said meal or drink confiscated and given to a homeless person.

Any politician who does not answer a straight question with a straight answer will be banned from politics. (we can dream)

Anyone caught doing 33mph in a 30mph limit will have the chance to nullify the offence by virtue of challenging the arresting officer to an arm wrestle.

Tony Bloom will invent 'BloomDollars' - a new cryptocurrency with which he buys new players. Hazard, De Bruyne, Salah, Neymar, and Mbappe all arrive at the Amex on a rainy Sunday in November.

Jess Phillips is an excellent politician who has to put up with a lot of shit.

I knew it could only be one of a very small number on here who would take issue with her.

Jess Phillips is a furious woman, that is continuously seen losing the plot.

Did you feel that her language of knifing Corbyn was acceptable?

Now Corbyn is an evil man also, so between them and the foul mouth McDonnell, they do bring down the class of the Labour party to an all-time low.

Labour has had some unelectable personnel over the years, but surely you must admit they are in an unexpected place at the moment and Jess Phillips gives nothing to the party apart from hatred.

Maybe it’s the council’s fault or maybe they don’t have the funds to do it. Doesn’t matter. The roads and pavements are untidy and can be dangerous. People spend £ thousands on a new driveway, front door, etc but can't be bothered to pick up a few weeds that make the front of their house look scruffy. Also if a neighbour can’t do it, why not do it for them and pop the rubbish in a bin nearby

Where’s the civic pride?

Good question, I'd also like to know where half our council tax goes. the council don't seem to spend it in the community any more. Despite the fact it's nearly doubled in the last 10-15 years

Only way this is going to happen is to transport us all back to New Zealand in 1970.

Did you feel that her language of knifing Corbyn was acceptable? No, unwise. Although, in context, it was throw away comment about being honest and not deceptive. I didn't feel any aggression in it. Politicians need to moderate their language. That idea hasn't reached NSC yet...

Now Corbyn is an evil man also, so between them and the foul mouth McDonnell, they do bring down the class of the Labour party to an all-time low.

Corbyn is at times miss-guided. Evil ? His record suggests the opposite. Not a fan of McDonnell myself. Prefer a more progressive and less polarising form of socialism.

Jess Phillips is outspoken against the current leadership. I don't see any hatred in her, at worst she's blunt. I like to see that, although not with language that can feed the nutters. She's caught in between the battle of New Labour and Momentum. A bit like me I guess. Her intentions are good.

I don't like the comments you show although I am struggling to be annoyed with the one to Piers Morgan...

Scotland will be granted automatic qualification to any future major football tournament, and will also be be granted a bye from any group stages

This idea has some merit. This way, Scotland will only have to endure ONE competitive match every two years.

My Mum is 89 years old, she has voted in every election she has been able to.
She gave up her driving license 15 years , cos she no longer felt she was a safe driver. Her passport ran out 5 years ago, she will never leave this country again, therefore she has no need to pay 95 quid for a new one.

The Government are stealing her vote. She feels more strongly about this, than the Tories stealing her free TV license.

Surely the government want as many 89 year olds as possible to be able to vote

Don’t worry , the Government are not losing my Mum’s vote, a lifelong Socialist arachnophobic, she’d rather cuddle a tarantula than vote Tory. Her opinion of Johnson is probably more extreme than mine.

Respect is due. I hope I still think as clearly at that age

Do you get my point though. If we're averaging out the demographics, most that age vote tory. I doubt they would do anything to stop the elderly voting, so it's more likely to be a practical rather than a party political matter
