In Albion terms, has to be the scoring. We're creating chances but not putitng them away. Cost us already against Burnley, Southampton and Newcastle, could be argued the game might have changed had we scored to make it 1-1 on Saturday too. Right now it feels like we're as bad as we were last season at it while having lost the defensive rigidity and solidity so if we did only score one we at least held out for 1-0.

We have a lack of firepower and squad strength largely brought about by club mismanagement. To be playing half fit players like Biss. away to Chelsea at this stage of the season is simply ridiculous.
The tactics of playing so much out from the back etc and three at the back will not work with our players. It looked good in the first game but as time goes on teams will anticipate and punish us as Chelsea did at the weekend. Our players are not good enough and our best defender of last season has found himself benched whilst Burn and Webster play, neither of whom is as good defensively. We need to develop other plans and become more solid.
Tottenham will be a good test on Saturday.

Voted for firepower up front, but realising this will partly be sorted out by comebacks from injuries, and partly that goals will begin to come from other places as well.
I can't help thinking that we will hammer someone soon if things were to go right.

There's a spider in my flat that i have tried to kill on three occasions, and it won't be flattened. I don't know where this little monster is now, but in the depths of night i have a firm sensation that it is out to get me, realising its invulnerability.
Albion-wise, i ticked firepower, but agree thoroughly with the injury list bebotherment, as that is what is holding us back, mostly, with chances fewer. I fear a longer stretch without a win will inject our team with a withering confidence, and we need it to make this fluent and daring style work.

Defensively we’ll be ok. We’ll concede more than last season but if we’re relegated it won’t be because of that.
Midfield looks pretty good to me as well. Stephens and Propper both playing well. When not needed elsewhere, I think Alzate has leapt over Bissouma and Mooy as first replacement at CM. I wouldn’t judge our midfield badly after an injury ravaged defeat at Stamford Bridge.
Wing Backs. When we have Bernardo (LWB) and Solly March (RWB) fit, this will be good enough. To me Montoya and Alzate should be back up in these positions.
Inside forwards. Mooy shouldn’t be playing here and I’m sure he won’t once we get Trossard etc fit. Gross good enough. I bet Alzate or Solly would do OK there.
Up front. Maupay not play on his own sort of player. Connolly is a better outlet. Both will get goals if we can get them chances and some support.
Potter. I’ve seen enough not to be concerned. He’s as likely as anyone to keep us up. We have to get through this injury crisis. I’ve never been so glad to see an international break coming up.
No specific areas I’m concerned about. But clearly we aren’t loads better than the other teams down with us so we’re in a relegation dogfight.

I voted 'Firepower up front' but think it could be better described as 'Decision making in the final third'. We just seem to be constantly taking one touch too many when in threatening positions or getting the ball in late when it needs to go in early (or vice versa). I'm sure it will change, although I hope I'm not still saying that come next March!

I’m not concerned about the football at all, it’s been a massive change in tactics and we’ve been hit by early season injuries, I’m certain results will pick up.

I heard Potter went to training with a cold and now it's gone through the squad, definitely got to be just cause to sack Potter and the training team.
Agree re Trossard, we need to get him back in as I believe he is the key to unlock the defences
My biggest concern is not being able to find a job which means I can't afford to go to games, which means I can't be there to shout FFS SHOOT!

I voted firepower because we're not clinical enough in front of goal, but I do have faith in Maupay Murray and Connolly. This season I am not worried about creativity, especially with trossard back, Alzate coming through, and Stephens and proppers recent performances. Defensively we are suffering from injuries but should be ok with March and Duffy come back.
