Tories begging for a General Election. It’s like DF begging a Millwall fan for a reach around

Something positive for the leavers reported in the Guardian

When something is being said to be really shit rather than really, really shit, and you see that as positive, you know you’re absolutely ****ed.

Jeremy was begging not so long ago. What's he afraid off?

I don't think you're dim so I'm sure you know why he declined the offer. I don't think you're dim so I must assume you are being disingenuous. Must try harder.

I dislike Corbyn but he hasn't put a foot wrong today. Criticise when criticism is due, or you may start enticing the credulous into thinking Corbyn is actually a credible leader.

I have my doubts that McDonald's putting all their straws behind the counter and now issuing them on a straw-for-drink basis is entirely to do with environmental concerns. A post like the one he made shows why I think it's to stop people like Chicken nicking them all.

This. I’m not Corbyn’s biggest fan but he’s barely put a foot wrong today, and spoke well in holding Johnson to account earlier.

You know that just about sums you up, everyone on hear collectively groans when you prattle on about who you’ve got on ignore and why, you the selectively unblock some posts and then repost why you’ve blocked me ffs

You’re like that sad little boy in the playground who says “ I’m not talking to you anymore because you’re a bell end” Then hangs around like a bad penny waiting to say it again[emoji23]

Politicians who use elections to shove through a no-deal Brexit, I reckon.

Indeed. The poster you are replying too need only switch to House of Commons Live to see Politician after politician are reiterating that point in Parliament as I type.

Odd question to pose.

The Tories just need to move the date of the election then they can have it.

Looks like BREXIT is the closest thing we've had to a civil war in this country. It's so much better throwing words at each other and ****ing things up with crosses in boxes.

I’m someone who would never vote Tory. It’s just something I could not countenance.

However, one thing that I have learnt from Brexit is that there was a number of honourable, capable, principled and honest politicians on the Tory benches. You’d be proud to call the likes Ken Clarke a mate.

Boris however . . . . . . . .

I greatly dislike Boris, and I have never voted tory and never would. But I am wondering whether Boris might have a vision.....bear with me:

Parliament cannot agree on a deal, but if you accept a deal must be had (I don't, but let's accept it for the moment) then how do you do it?

If Parliament can't agree a deal then we can simply crash out and do the deals after we leave. Why not?

OK it will hurt people, but only for a while, and in a few years Boris will be the saviour of Leave just like Maggie saved the Falklands.

Now, given that Boris is happy to lie and cheat to get what he wants then, yes, he will play all the tricks in the book to let us drift into a no deal Brexit.

He has enough support in the media to survive.

Plus, in the country, there are enough men who want to be him, and enough women who want to shag him, that he is teflon coated.

I can see Boris 'winning'.

I hope not, but....

He's being disingenuous. A bit soppy, though, using false weaponry to attack Corbyn. It smacks of bullying, or of fear. One of the two. Possibly both.
