My thoughts too - but the way Potter seems to be going about things, with Alzate, Baluta and Sanders still hovering around the first team squad, I'm beginning to wonder if that's the way we're heading.
Yes, I know - our U23s are nowhere near being up to scratch;
They have no PL experience;
We'll never play them while there are over 25s available;
You can't win anything with kids;
If we put any of those in the team we'll be relegated before Christmas. Definitely. Some people on NSC actually know this.

And that he it towing the party line on Dunk as he is clearly gone if the Maguire deal goes through. Has Dunk been made captain yet BTW?
All makes complete sense, interesting omission of the En-nesyri rumour though which seems to have a lot of legs in the Spanish press.

Really don`t get why we signed Clarke if we are going to loan him straight out again, especially if Potter does like to play with 3 centre halves, get rid of Balogun.
