Castgane is definitely the most likely. Both Atalanta and the player are more keen for a move to happen, he also came through the Genk academy and was in their under-19 team at the same time as Trossard. Having both will make it easier for them to settle in the area.

He won't be anywhere near the 6M mooted earlier on in either this thread or a somewhere else (can't remember where exactly)
Transfermarkt alone value him at €18M

Weren't Palace interested in him? For a fee around £20m?

He rejected them. Don't know why. Well, I know why I'd reject them, but I don't know his specific reason. Atalanta will be playing champions league next season, worth bearing in mind when considering the viability of signings their players

Could be viable if he's playing second fiddle to Hateboer.

I'm not sure if we can afford him but I wouldn't mind Cenk Tosun coming here. he did well in the second half of last year and was brilliant in pre-season. He then had poor games in first three of the season and really never played again, his time limited to off the bench. He is a confidence player but is the type to play off the shoulder, which might be the type of player we need.

Might be too expensive though for the risk. Similar to Andone but has better proven record of goalscoring.

Potter after match on Saturday still not giving much away in transfer talk as per normal club strategy which is , unlike other managers, is to say pretty much nothing.

He's "not disappointed " at progress so far saying pretty much what he said a week ago and a few weeks before that.

“I think you have got to work until the end of the window to try and improve.
“Firstly, try to improve the players we have got here, improve the group.
“Then, of course, if there any options to help the group get better, we will look into that.”

Not expecting many more in now that it is so late in the window.

Maybe 1 before deadline day if we are lucky, and then 1 panic buy on that last day.

BUT, other than at striker, I reckon the squad can now do reasonably well - providing the Kayal-Pröpper-Stephens grouping isn't relied on too much. Which means a big role for Bissouma and fast tracking for Băluţă and Alzate.
