On 1st July 2017 Sebastien Haller joined Eintracht Frankfurt from Utrecht for £6.3mill. He has 23 goals and 13 assists in 58 Bundesliga matches. Transfermarkt has him valued at £36million, so even allowing for a bit of inflation Frankfurt are looking at a fivefold return on their investment.

We should go all out to sign mcburnie he’s absolute quality should get him for less than 20 mil and if we can double that with James also that would be a cracking start to the summer

Feel free to advise us who.
Its such a key position, I would like signings now that know the premier league.
And until we know a price we don't know about value for money..

I don't know of anyone but then it isn't my job to know. I am sure the recruitment team have either a list of possible signings or hopes that Locadia and Andone will strap up to the mark. When ever the press talk of Mitrovic they alway say the £40 m rated striker so they won't be far off the mark.

Mitrovic would be out of our price range for sure, would lvoe to see someone like him and/or Alec Iwobi but it's not gonig to happen. Hal Robson Kanu would be a good pick up and with only a year to go on his contract I think we could prick him up for £6/7m if West Brom don't get promoted.

You think HRK is better than Andone or Locadia (the latter who never really gets the chance to play as a forward). Maybe, just maybe, there is a reason why HRK is plying his trade in the championship and is soon to be out of contract. Some players run down their contract because they are moving on to better things. Some clubs run down contracts because they can't wait to get rid of players!!!

These aren't the players you're looking for.

We have NO wingers capable of regularly taking a defender on then whacking over a pinpoint cross. What use is that to Mitrovic?

We do but Chris opts to play wingers on the opposite side to their preferred foot. They are forced to cut back, often ponderously, before crossing with inswing.

If you look at Liverpool who play a different style, but use their full backs as wingers, they cross the ball with outswing whilst running at pace, this allows much faster attacking movements. Far harder to defend against.

Please name those capable. AK on a good day, but the ability to take defenders on at pace has no real evidential backing.

Switch Knockaert to the left and demand he whips crosses in rather than chopping back 5 times before crossing and he would be far more dangerous.

But this only works if we have people in the box to get on the end. Often we only have one striker being marked by 2 CB's.
