Not speculating on the identity of "aitch" yes, everyone, that's how you pronounce it...but *Kyle" the black C019 sergeant is DEFFO part of the OCG.

Reason? He's been at every raid, so knows what's going down, has lots of lingering shots after dialogue with central cast finishes and has been called by name by Arnott, Hastings and everyone else.

Also, notice the unnecessary little bits of extra lines he gets after his team let a villain "escape"...He's in on it for sure...and I'll bet YOU didn't even notice him???

I pointed this out on here after last week's episode, he's got too much dialogue and screen time for him not to be a player.

"I think the firearms officer is gonna have a part to play. After Corbett ran off following the stand off between him and Arnott, the firearms officer then had a short but totally unnecessary scene in the office with Hastings where he was telling him stuff the audience and Hastings already knew. They were on first name terms. I reckon he'll feature somehow. Or not."

I've given up speculating who, what, where or when H is. I thought it might be a deadline like H-Hour, D-Day etc but I'm not sure that would fit.

Also Arnett (should that be Harnett?) didn’t buy him pizza

Or try to get him to bone you...He can't get it up. Also...He might be the surprise villain this time round.

My enjoyment of LOD has reduced directly in line with my increased viewing of '24 Hours in Police Custody'. It's pretty obvious from viewing the latter that the CPS could not have sanctioned a charge on the flimsy circumstantial evidence that AC3 have.
Indeed, I think it's relatively common to have £50,000 in cash lying around the house.

Disappointing episode for me. All very predictable. I am guessing there is a mega twist to come but that was the dullest episode of the series so far.

“Always keep a Manila envelope stuffed with cash handy” as my old Dad used to say.

It didn't quite hold together did it. Not sure why, Really. My thought at this point is Lisa really is working with Hastings and the whole thing, including the 50k and Hastings arrest is a massive secret gambit to root out the real H.

Hastings a man of great experience and intelligence, signing the prison register, leaving £50k in his room, fahrenheit order, the UC setupt etc. etc. seems like an intentional trail of breadcumbs. The way he kept looking at Arnault and Fleming earlier in the series seems to me him calculating and counting on their integrity. I think he has intentionally pushed them to their limits knowing that while others will be looking to pin it all on Hastings, Arnault and Fleming will dig for the absolute truth.

Did we find out why Hastings binned his pc a few episodes ago?

And what’s with Lisa being all tearful on occasions?

Mercurio has written this series a little differently to his previous series, usually AC 12 are on the scent of someone who may or may not be dodgy and our hero's have to batter down their defences until the truth comes out.

This series has slowly shown Hastings getting deeper in to possibly being corrupt but now our hero's will have to prove that he is not.

I'm with you. It's a ruse to get to the real H.

Not sure why some people aren't liking this series. It's quality as usual

I'm convinced Hastings isn't a bent copper.

1. Why would he leave £50k lying around in his room but move the laptop at the earliest opportunity?

2. Why is that ex cop lying about giving him the money?

3. Why would Hastings go to that prison to say something to that person to pass on and not just surreptitiously do it himself?

4. Why would Hastings walk into the front door of the club that he knew was being watched?

I think it is the case that Hastings and Mqueen are in a deep UCO op in the UCG.

And how come he has deep financial problems if he's been the top gangster over several years? Makes no sense. I think H is a female

Now the Northern Irish thread is becoming more prominent, could Lisa be deep cover MI5, or Special Branch?
Then, none of the anti corruption coppers would know about her, and, therefore immune to getting exposed by any bent coppers in their ranks.

One thing I’ve not seen mentioned (or have I missed something) is the short scene where Lisa, Miroslav and the young crim are sat in the car, they talk about him “passing his exam” and “going for the interview”.
Is he going to join the police?
Are all three of them coppers and the young one going for promotion?

Or have I missed something obvious?
