Too many people regard Brexit as an event. It's not, it's a process, and as with any process failure at any point has the potential to cause unintended consequences.

Whoever is deemed responsible for No Deal if it happens on 29th March, is going to find it tough to even reside in the UK, let alone get elected again, on that basis, I believe it will be avoided, one way or another, and at the moment there are 3 ways to do that, Revoke A50, Extend A50, or vote the deal through. Extension requires agreement with the EU, the other two are entirely in Parliaments hands.

The unintended consequences - amongst all this patronising, condescending and ignorant attitude to Ireland on Brexit on this thread and elsewhere, is how this will play out there, both north and south. Sure, they're going to feel the economic ill winds of it very badly, but Brexit is a British creation, exacerbated by the current red lines of May and the blame lies purely here, not in Dublin or Brussels. I just wonder when the full reality hits home and the anti-English resentment and feeling grows and the economic problems become societal where it'll end up, particularly as there's plenty of dormant and actively growing vehicles for it to latch onto.
The Good Friday Agreement could never have happened without Maastricht, but it also all coincided with a period of unprecedented economic growth in Ireland and a rise in the standard of living that was hit post 2008 and is about to hit again thanks to us.
It's very worrying.

I've already told you I have no problem with your opinion on Brexit, and have even said I agree that Brexit should be implemented even if I don't agree with it. But unfortunately I have every justification for being so rude all the while you continue to gloat and have unilaterally decided that we HAVE to leave on 29th March or it amounts to betrayal. If you don't like people being rude to you, don't act like a complete c**t. Simples.
