Chancellor confirms UK will leave EU customs union and single market
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/business...uk-will-leave-eu-customs-union-single-market/
Aren’t the Labour Party saying they will stay in the customs union and common market, thereby proving that their historical economic incompetence is final being banished. Maybe. And the Lib Dem’s will have us back in. The Tories are split in multiple pieces. All good news.
Given her weak position and the fact there will be vote on the final deal I’d take any statements like this with a pinch of salt.
Justine Greening out of the Cabinet and free to rebel.
And you are being a bit dense. I was commenting solely on your post, and what it said. I'm bored now. Carry on arguing.![]()
And so says our self-proclaimed champion of democracy. As it has for two years or more, the future of England appears to hinge on the internal machinations of the Conservative Party. There is no way she or the (pro remain) Chancellor could go back on their statements/ manifesto commitments and retain any credibility plus Boris, Gove, Fox, Davis are standing behind her with a gun to her head, none of them would accept membership of the single market, customs union. Yes a vote where the options are accept the deal or crash out without one.

remainers are so funny!
That wasn’t the referendum question, to leave the EU and anything else that the loonies want to leave. It may happen, it may not, I suspect it won’t and the momentum is going that way
I did. When was this announced?
Trump facts again

Ah the usual reverting to (drunken?) abuse gambit. Says the wannabee class warrior who thinks the Home secretary lusts after him ... real world indeed![]()

Corbyn says we can't stay in the single market.

Spain’s Alantra Partners SA is considering moving its headquarters from Madrid to London in a bet the U.K. capital will remain the center of European business and finance even after Brexit.
That's not right, surely?
I have absolutely no doubt a company specialising in merger and acquisition will want to be based in London. I’m sure there will be plenty of vultures circling over The City needing help with picking up companies at rock bottom prices. You go where the work is.
Labour are almost as bad as the Tories on Brexit.
What doesn't change is the Brexit everyone was promised is undeliverable.

I think he’d have more chance of re-branding Jimmy Saville![]()
