The only way to stop this disgusting gravy train is to sack the TV companies, sponsors, and players agents. It makes me ashamed to be a football fan at times, wish I had been brought up to support gymnastics instead at times. BTW, thank you TB!

Hopefully not linked to Southern then!

It is good to see that Bloom continues to invest as an outside, I just hope that it keeps going and that you make the Prem within the timeframe he really wants to. I do not think he will ever demand the money back but its more that he stops digging in his pocket

Pogba on £290k a week and now Ozil and Sanchez, who earn £160k a week want parity with Pogba's wages or close to it or they'll be leaving Arsenal.. £160k a week not enough to live on eh chaps, short career and all that. Fing hell. Where will it end? Football WILL eat itself.

If we gain promotion the debt is repaid very quickly.
But for assistance would a lengthy cup run be welcomed

Yes,but then again, perhaps not right now,it's a tightrope......we need promotion is my feeling......and this year.

Enough to make every STH a millionaire. Think on that the next time someone says we're not going for it.

But shirley people throwing millions at football clubs just fuel the gravy train and increase losses for other clubs:facepalm: A club run so well and so well supported as ours should not be losing £25 million plus! Its wrong :(

Agree with you the amounts are obscene but am I right in saying a big wedge of that mahoosive loss was expenditure on the training centre? Or am I just hoping it was!

Trouble is, if you were in a job where you are one of the best in the industry and can demand wages would you not, regardless if the numbers started to get silly?

And that argument will always be trotted out and correctly so, it's just such an obscene state of affairs.
