This isn't Synthipop exactly, but it is early 80s Peely session poptastic:

You never revealed who they were! But I've worked it out, with the title 'Scream, Cry or Fall' scrolling across the keyboard at the start. They are Handful of Snowdrops. I've gone from liking this to loving it! Need to hear more these guys)
I'll put some more up . . . . . you can find them on youtube, but that's hardly the point![]()
Vince Clark has to be the KING of the synth. Yazoo, Depeche Mode, Erasure.
Well, HoS are very obscure! I'd never heard of them, whatsoever
Dont forget The Assembly(obv no way near as successful)
but this was a bit of a corker.
Sorry, didn't mean to sound like, er, a ****.Yes, very obscure. Glad you like

Would these guys qualify?![]()
You didn't sound like a ****, it's ok mate
I'll check the other vids 2moro. That Scream, Cry or Fall is an awesome track. Thanks for sharing..
If we are talking pure synth pop, these guys New Musik are masters imo:

And this track from NASA is one of many great songs from Remembering the Future. Not for everyone, but then again hardly anyone has heard of them!
