I think the team battled and showed cared and before the first injuries we looked well up for the game and was doing alright but with spine of defence, midfeld and forwards out, to top it with knockhart.
I just cant see it, Sky also sooo biased and i hope if we did by miracle win ignore them and dont talk to them, wednesday had all luck and we had 4 injuries and we didnt get any talk on the bad luck and how much fight we had.
Nothing wrong with team so stop moaning at players apart from Wilson who is lazy and overrated.

I've got my ticket for Monday, I'll play my part but realistically with that AWFUL luck re injuries the task is a bloody hard one. Like really bloody hard. I don't know how we kept it to 2-0. Wednesday should be more gutted than us!

Well summed up, the lads on the pitch gave it their all apart from Wilson, but with so many players out, 2-0 down we're all but out

Just to let anyone know who might be struggling with numbers,2-0 comes before 3-0 and 4-0 and just one more than 1-0.
Yes that's right so we only need 2 goals to tie the game.We don't need 5 goals as some defeatists seem to think.

Apparently no team has ever come back from 2-0 in the first leg of the Championship play-offs.

So many ****ing wet blankets on this forum.

Personally I will be pleased with a full bloodied performance from whoever is fit and able to wear the shirt.
An overall victory will be tough.
A good performance at the end of an excellent but ultimately extremely unlucky season would be great.

.... and here's a thought - IF we do miss out, I'll wager we have more happy days next season than Burnley, Boro and whoever else goes up!

Oh yeh-only £97 million for finishing bottom -they will sick as parrots

Yes the injuries won't help, but this second leg is far from done.
Wednesday will come to us Monday and sit, which means we will throw everything we have at them, we pinch an earlyish goal and their game plan will all change ... Do they sit to they try and have another?! We have 27k+ home support with invariably nothing to lose.
Let's stop moaning about what we've lost, get together get behind the boys Monday and make the best out of a bad situation.
WE ARE BRIGHTON, SUPER BRIGHTON, WE ARE BRIGHTON FROM THE SOUTH.

Why are you always so negative? We've got a team that bust a gut tonight to keep the score respectable, and give themselves a chance in the second leg, but all you can do is mock. Are you a true Albion fan?

i think we should be proud of our players, they didnt do anything wrong, just not our year obviousally, last 3 games we have been down to 10 men and not really apart from Dunk from our own bad play.
Its just not meant to be, with just too many main men out i cant see us pulling this back, but we have done AMAZING to even take this game back to Amex with a slight chance. Towell come on and worked socks off, Greer and Bruno did really well as did Bong.
just bad luck for us but we showed in it as a team and next year we will be CHAMPIONS of championship with over 100 points if keep this team and add a extra couple.
Maybe that is our path intended.
