"On call" is that code for working at the 24 hour garage?

No, I'm English.

No, casing the joint.

Another words, waiting for his Nan to go to sleep so he can go in and rob her for his drug money.

If that makes you feel better, then so be it. Sounds like you speak from experience though.

Well **** off then.

Thanks

Just like the usual "oh I'm on call so it's cool to be on a Brighton forum at 1am".

Would not say its cool, but passes the time. Believe what you wish, I will be fine regardless.

Moaning now just cries out loser hehe in fact I would say u r in the wanker level

When you write that in English, I may or may not feel insulted. Commiserations.

You know you don't have much of a life when......

You claim you're only on a rival's board because you're on call at an unsociable hour and a bit bored but then return to the same board in your own free time just so you can score petty little points regarding grammar.

As a reasonable 47 year old man you make an involuntary :tosser: sign at the TV when they come up on the screen during MOTD and then chuckle to yourself for doing it. :D

I do something pretty similar when Pardew is on the screen. A double Gareth Hunt combined with an 80's "Deacon" face. I can't help myself, but hope to grow out of it by the time I am your age. I am 46 in two weeks.

When you see them get beat in Football Manager and have a little chuckle to yourself...

Brighton
Dougie's going to tug himself off when he gets to 3500 posts. And the other tosser is bound to be 'on call' at 1am later.

I clear my throat and gob an imaginary lump of flob everytime I drive past Selhurst, which is at least once a month. My passengers, when they are not football fans, tend to think it's childish and pretty disgusting. I have given up trying to explain. My wife HATES it when I do it too.

You can't do that without making the grunty 80s "deacon" noise, mneeeerr mneeerrr or something like that. Highly inappropriate in company of course but entirely suitable for lone Palace watching or with like minded close friends. You won't grow out of it, i've given up trying.

You'd think they'd stop trying wouldn't you!? Makes me laugh the gulf in intellect between your average BHA Sussex fan & your average franchise CPFC2010 fan from Croydon

First rule of grammar pedantry is make sure you don't get hoisted by your own petard. If you have trouble understanding then ask the nice lady who ties your shoelaces in the mornings to explain it to you.
