Bruno's mistake hasn't cost us. We were 1 nil down with 4 mins left. Dunk's mistake only cost us 1 point because we can't score a goal, so all it has prevented is a point from a 0-0 draw.

Everyone is blaming the defence, Dunk, Bruno, but in this game we never sounded like taking a lead, or even scoring. I almost don't give a shit about goals conceded when you can't score. Had we been 1 up, different story...

This, 100%. I too don't mind conceding goals due to defensive errors (how most goals are scored in actual fact) provided we score at least one more than the opposition (a la Charlton). We can't score that's the problem. Stop blaming the defence and wise up.

Not just the players fault though is it ?
Bad tactics, players looking like they can't be arsed, terrible passing at times, very very rare to see any Albion player shoot from out side the box or even from just inside the area.
Individual mistakes by players, far too often meaning laziness,
Losing games at home and away now.
Not scoring a goal in 6 games is utterly ridiculous.
Again not particularly great signings again. Manu : No good Hemed : No good, Zamora : 20/30 minuter Baldock : No good
Goldson : ok
Whenever Greer is not there we fall to pieces as there are no other leaders like him.
Not looking good for CH now, as if Bloom is serious about the PL he will want a manager who can produce results which he isn't and hasn't if your honest all season.
The only thing that is saving us is all the draws we've accumulated other wise we would be at the bottom by now.
Our position flatters us a lot.
Just being honest .

Very harsh. We're Albion and Palace have just lost to the bottom club, they are our rivals after all.

Sorry to say this but any reference to Palace, given the hole we have now dug ourselves into, is inviting scorn from up the road at a time when frankly we should be keeping our heads down.

Sadly we are now light years behind Palace ( and Leicester, Watford and Bournemouth for that matter ) and will have considerable difficulty ever catching up.

We missed our chance thanks to a manager who never got off his ar-e in a play off semi ( for whatever reasons we may never exactly know )

and that puts the world to rights does it?....absolutely and utterly pathetic comment. Forget Palace and everyone else and try to contribute to the debate about our failing team and how we are chucking away a glorious chance to challenge for a place in the PL.
Palace are the last thing on my mind but clearly not on yours.
I was joking. I am firmly Team "Hughton out, Bruno can't defend and Hemed wouldn't even know what a barndoor is".

Rotherham were 4th from bottom, we should have known they would have been a tough nut to crack.
Horrible result and performance again. Personnel wise we looked OK tonight, but it sounds like their confidence has hit rock bottom.

I do slightly worry that Hughton's understated, thoughtful management makes it easy for the players to simply shrug their shoulders. Perhaps one of the players needs to stand up and let fly with a few home truths.

Thankfully we've put 40 odd points on the board already this season, because this could run and run.

It's so disappointing.

That ignores the fact that for a big chunk of the season we've had Bong, KLL, Rosenior, March and Hunemeier in the side looking rock solid in this division.

The table doesn't lie, but it is time to show some character, grind out a win and steady the ship.

We have money to spend and players to return, there are still 20 games and 60 points still to play for, and we've shown we can go 20 games unbeaten already this season.

He could have started Bobby instead of Hemed and brought Baldock on around 65 minutes. No, this hasn't been one of Hughton's finest matches.

Zamora played the first 65 minutes against Wolves and was awful though, so I understand the reasons for Hemed starting. Sadly, Hemed has looked awful for weeks now too. Baldock doesn't score goals, and Wilson seems to slowly becoming worse and worse the more time he spends with us.

Not good.

F*ck them up the road, they've just lost to a woeful Villa side and their European ambitions have taken a dent. Nobody's crowing about it but on the other hand it's not a bad thing, is it?
