Well it was the Corbyn supporters that started the early threads when you thought he was Labours saviour, then you were over the moon that he had attracted many new members, we had more pro Corbyn threads.....now sadly you want them to stop, because he has turned out to be a disaster........shame eh.
And your point or deflection is....meantime we've had 13 years for Labour to put things right, guess what they didn't otherwise they would still be in power...25 years ago and you are still harping on about it.

Hello from one of the sad 5 Stars................I have plenty of things to do; I just thought it would be interesting to hear what the previously enthusiastic Corbyn supporters now think about their leadership. Seems many of you have nothing much to say in support of your leaders. Thought that may be the case.

Funny enough I just said something very similar to someone else. Very odd, you're right, and that is terrifying.
Odd and random, not adjectives I would use ........ They are much too generous for for him..... Dangerous and Foolish are two I consider more suitable as well as many others,none of which are complimentary...

I'm happy to answer. Corbin was always going to have to fight an internal battle first. The PLP aren't fans of his. You only have to follow the tweets of the Blairites to see them attempting to undermine him at every turn. Locally Tim Macpherson and Ivor Caplin are good examples. The party members have sent the party to the left but the MP's are still firmly to the centre right. If he can win that battle (or purge the party like a good Marxist) then I think he'll have a chance of laying out an alternative. Osborne is failing so miserably (by his own standards) that people may be open to that. Pre Corbyn, Labour didn't offer an alternative, they were merely Tory lite.
I for one hope that he can. I don't know if he'll win an election but I hope at the very least he'll open up sensible, engaged and informed debate , something we rarely see anymore.

Rather a worse position, I would say, except that these ' moments of madness' will hopefully bring the Labour Party to its senses rather rapidly.

I am pleased, although a little surprised, to see that so many of us on NSC have benefited from the Governments recent decisions. Personally, I think the 150K income tax rate cut plus the inheritance tax rate changes were belters 
It seems obvious that many people countrywide are upset by the governments decisions, says a lot that with this in mind the Labour party are not at least 7 points in the lead.
Sums up how bad Corbyn is as a credible opponent, and the team he has installed are an embarrassment.

I think Corbyn has some good and a somewhat larger number of insane ideas. What I do find most interesting though is that he seems to have unleashed a torrent of negative comment in the press the likes of which I have not seen in my lifetime. He certainly worries the establishment and they have unleashed all of their weapons against him. That said he has no control over his own party, does not seem to even have a clear agenda of his own and it almost seems like he does not want the job he has been put in. Will he get elected? Not while I still have a hole in my arse. Do some of his ideas and those of the left deserve a broader hearing and debate? Yes I think they do, but he is incapable of articulating that on his showing so far...
