You think Trump's scary - you want to look at some of the other numpties that have crawled out from the Republican pond.

Mike Huckabee, Rick Perry and Rick Santorum (loony evangelicals)
Chris Christie - just plain too fat (admittedly not declared yet but bound to with his ego)

After 2012's bumper crop of loony Presidential Republican candidates I was getting a bit worried that this was going to be a bit lackluster but the GOP have stepped up to the plate and it's shaping up nicely

Hillary must be pissing herself

Ted Cruz the Christian fundamentalist is a kooky wacko too!

Away away away
It is hilarious that Trump is in the lead for the GOP. But very very scary that some pollsters have him winning the presidency. Do you think someone in the CIA will be asked to bump him off if he wins? Surely him in power would be extremely unstable. He's the sort of man that would try to win a quick nuclear war against Iran.

I like the fact Trump is really pissing off the likes of Jeb Bush and Ben Carson who probably thought they would be front runners at this stage. Having said that most of the Republican contenders are barking and would be laughed off the stage if they tried standing for election in the UK

Whatever happened to Sarah Palin ? I quite FANCIED her.

She conducted a cutting edge "interview" with Trump the other week, which in impartiality terms was like getting Prince Andrew to script a documentary about the Queen.

There was talk of her becoming a running mate if he got the nomination  Is that still a prospect, US residents of the board?

The world never knows what mad American president they will have to deal with next. This is a flaw within democracy because those with extreme views can rise to the top, cause chaos, then leave office, and walk away with their hands in pockets, looking up to the sky whistling.

If they can elect George Bush twice anything's possible!

Glad I missed the boat with Trump, dutched Marco Rubio and Scott Walker a while ago as I thought Jeb Bush was too short.
SW out but MR still bang in there - long way to go yet though.

Dream ticket that - and with either Jezza or Boris shaping up to be the Numero Unos on this side of the pond I think we can say that the "special relationship" will truly be in the hands of the lunatics wot have taken over the asylum, innit???

I think I might jack in my job and start up a bunker installation business.

With ISIS running wild next door to Israel and Trump / Putin in charge it'll be a sure-fire growth industry.

Well that'll be a fairly interesting sideshow. Which is exactly what it is.

Here's the key. The more his strategy goes on the more realistic his campaign becomes and more Americans have said "Why not?" Every week with a new poll Trump gains a slight bit of momentum. I have always felt that Trump would fade away. He speaks plainly to what a lot of Americans want to hear. Unfortunately many of his answers are that his personality will charm other world leaders and American political leaders into submitting to his will. He's cutting taxes with no explanation other than we'll find some big loopholes to close which, by the way, always favor Trump. Healthcare will be reformed by Donald's will being imposed on doctors and hospitals and everyone will end up with good healthcare. In the end I believe Trump will slowly fade from view but many Americans feel this could make way for more republican ideas to be used. I have been truly surprised by Trump's lasting power. It will surprise me greatly if he is the republican nominee.

Polls say if he is the republican nominee Trump will lose to Hillary Clinton.
