Ha ha, I'm the only 1 who hasn't so far! Self confessed JCL but I've only missed about 4 home games at the Amex,
I'm very excited about Friday and will be signing with the rest of you!

Not a season ticket holder, but went to most home games at that time.

Yes - remember seeing him get the perfect hat trick - right foot, left foot and header. Don't expect miracles as the years have moved on, but its going to be fun

Standing in the way of control
if you weren't there, at Portslade Sports Centre, when our beloved press head honch was murmuring of Uncle Dick's ongoing wranglings with Brizzle Rovers...it was five times more exciting than tonight. If you were a teenager.

Also, if you never seriously pondered whether Lorenzo Pinamonte would be an adequate replacement for BZ, or wondered whether we'd get promoted with Wayne Gray up top, and, indeed, saw BZ clutching his dislocated shoulder down Gardner Street the day after he skanked it, or...god I'm boring. Apologies.

More importantly, were you there for his last appearance (and goal) for the Albion - a miserable afternoon away at Grimsby, which saw us get relegated...? I remember the fact we were going down was made even worse by the knowledge that Bobby would be leaving...

I was. I remember hearing about signing him permanently after his loan signing. I jumped up and down like a child clutching a copy of the argus (cos that's how I'd heard, old skool) and tried to explain to my new girlfriend, now wife, why it was important. He was symbolic of our regeneration.i don't care if he isn't all that this season.

I do believe I was there that evening at Portslade.

On signing Zamora I went down the bookies and put a tenner on us for the championship. Zamora delivered but the bookie did a runner mid-season.

Remember the wonder goal at Bury away? I was behind the goal. The former Mrs Molango, a rather skeptical northerner, was moved to comment 'fookin ell!'.

Good times.

Only the Albion understood Bobby. His elegance. Let's hope he can stay fit. . . . .

I love the less happy memories as well, like the away game at Oldham in 01/02 where he was inexplicably benched behind lone striker, Danny Webb. I will never forget the reception he got when appearing on the touchline to come on in the second half. He hit the bar with a header, then got sent off for kicking their goalkeeper. Then he smashed up the away changing room. What a player.
