I'm neither one way or the other, but there is certainly big appeal in getting over to Brighton early on a sunny Friday afternoon for beers, watching the game as the sun goes down, maybe a few more beers after and then still having the whole weekend free.

:)

I am suddenly looking forward to the start of the season.

Brilliant as we are away so we can see the game live in a bar

I
Am I alone in preferring this for the following reason - it's mid-summer, so Friday night football means Saturday can be spent on the beach?

Come on, what's not to like?

You're not alone. The thought of sipping a pre-match Harvey's or two outside the North stand whilst listening to some live music on a warm summer's Friday evening is tres appealing.

Sky put the local derby on at lunch time (leeds v burnley) and make forest fans travel to the south coast on a Friday night....
The mass of empty seats from people who cannot make will certainly be a great advert for the club and championship.

Me and son can only make Saturday games. only 12 last year means £39 a game.
I start the season knowing this will be my last as a season ticket holder as it is cheaper to just purchase on game by game (Sats only).

This is shit news for the majority. Very few enjoy evening games at the amex, largely because of the transport. It's just a pain in the arse. But the worst part of it all is the return of that c*** Barber to the Albion public relations dept. It's his job to make/save the Albion money, so he's the one coming out and justifying it all. Nightmare, I'd rather hear from him once a season to be honest
