Bit of a Twickers bank holiday crowd today, for sure. On the bridge, had to point out to a braying Henry which direction was East, as in Stand. Nevermind, we won't see their like again this season, or indeed next season before the Rugby world Cup.
oh dear, it seems like the timmy trendy's were out in force then

Seems we need all the hard-core vocal support we can muster then. Coming along?
nope , I'VE DONE MY BIT IN THE PAST ,sad to say the good days of vocal support are done and dusted due to all seater stadia and a new generation of "fans", it's as straight forward as that

Norwich scored and 3000+ of their fans all started singing, pretty loud and impressive ( hate to admit that )
Police box crew / NSK responded with Yankee fecking Doodle, FFS

I believe you can stand in some Aviva Premiership grounds Das. Tie a jumper over your shoulders, bin the subscription to Waffen Blitzkreig Monthly and start subscribing to The Sunday Times, learn some Ra Ra Hooray type songs and they'll never suspect that you're not one of them. #salad days

There's less singing during the game and that's a fact. The only way to rectify it is to get some new Albion players that we give a sh1t enough to sing about. Look at the songs we've lost - Ulloa, Buckley, Barnes, Bridcutt, Nooney, CMS before he became really sh1t, Vicente.

Terracing in the north stand and all singers make your way to behind the goal. Away fans to North end of East stand upper and lower. Pay on the day £15 adults, £7.50 kids. Atmosphere!!!!!

Dull Amex these days. No singing section and any lively characters received bans during those first two Amex seasons under Hebberd's heavy handed rulebook.

Lovely stadium architecture though.

Easy to use feeble excuses than admit that most in the ground just can't be bothered to sing at games and are prefectly happy to sit in silence (like most of the stands at the Goldsone did for most of the games there, and Priestfield, oh, and at Withdean)

I thought that the Norwich fans were quite loud today when singing in a stand a similar size to the North Stand, and yet i doubt there were any of their fans were using the usual excuses the North stand seemingly normally like to use such as it's split into factions and they refuse to join in with each other / the stewards / having seats in the stands / people near then looking at them for singing, etc... and claim they were all too easily put off making some noise.

The sooner some of our fans realise it's unlikely that the whole ground will be singing or even the whole north stand singing at once and just accept that people may look at them for singing, etc, but not use it as an excuse to stop and they should just carry on singing if they wish and not see those who don't join in as a resaon to stop.

You'd be better off with a broom and other handy implements from the groundsman's hut with which to run the Zulus out of their unscheduled entrance to the Goldstone's West Stand. Eh Rev?

There wasn't too much to get excited about.

Not an excuse - we had a great atmosphere away at Fulham and that was prior to kick off, so what had the team done during that match to lead to that atmosphere?

Blaming the match your watching for not singing is like saying that there weren't enough Seagulls flying over the ground to make it worth the effort to sing (ie, completely irrelevant imo) - A good atmosphere can lift the teams performance (also see Fulham away)

I thought that the Norwich fans were quite loud today when singing in a stand a similar size to the North Stand,.

I think you are right. However they made noise when they scored and at the end. Apart from that, they were rubbish. I've been at away matches where 300 of our fans made more noise than their 3000.
