Is there a large percentage of NSC posters trying to take over Private Frazer's role in 'Dads Army' as in "We're all doomed Captain Mainwaring".

Yes I know we're in the relegation zone, yes the football has been awful, yes Sami Hyypia doesn't seem able to motivate the team, but for God's sake ease up on the world is coming to an end!

What League 1 grounds will we visit next season? I'm not renewing my season ticket! That's it I'm not coming to the Amex again. Why has Tony Bloom gone back to Australia - he's lost the plot! And so it goes on.

Let's all just calm down a tad. We are not even halfway through the season yet. We've been in the bottom 3 for a couple of weeks, not since August or September. We have a number of key players to come back from injury. We have the January transfer window coming in order to add new players where required.

This is football, you take the rough with the smooth and you support YOUR club through thick and thin. Just accept the fact.
Sadly no.

What is it about those stats that some people can't see?

So we've lost less than half the games played

We're going to thrash Wolves, humiliate Reading, demolish Fulham and overwhelm Charlton

If Sami resigns, I will not be shedding tears, but I don't want Bloom to sack him. I have hope, and the football I have seen has not been so far off the pace for me to lose that hope, results have been a lot worse than performances.
When I hear some supporters saying stuff like "I hope we lose the next one 'cos a win will just mean we keep Sami longer" you have to question whether they really believe that would be best for the club, or if they just want him gone to avoid the embarrassment of being wrong or having to give him his due if we get back to winning ways.

Totally agree!

I will still support the club in league one next season.

You stick with your club through thick and thin but when your club seems to be trying it's damndest to self destruct it's very hard not to overreact. You need to face facts yourself. Nothing changes - we're going down. It's that simple.

So our club "seems to be trying it's damndest to self destruct", what a load of bollocks, get a grip people, relax and enjoy the silly season and it will all turn out ok next year. We won't go down, hopefully Sammi's plans will bear fruit and next season we will be back up there challenging for promotion.
I think TB has the right idea coming down here, not only does he get to enjoy the world's best summer (albeit on the wrong coastline) but he also doesn't have to listen to all the daily hysteria and headless chickenism back home.

When I talk to fellow Albion supporters there is incomprehension that Hyypia is still in charge - but none of the negativity about the club that abounds on here.

Tony has made his decision to persevere with Sami and I would hope back him with substantial funds. Therefore I have made my decision to continue to support the club in the most positive way I can.

Like it or not there's absolutely feck all we can do about anything, anyway.

That's modern money driven football, it's wrong, it's corrupt, it no longer has any foundation and it's biting the hand that feeds i, but that's the playground we are now playing in.

The simple fact is Mr Bloom will do what he wants when he wants, it's his club, he built it and crucially he paid for it.

But surely by showing loyalty and not sacking a manager at the first hurdle - our Mr. Bloom is very anti modern football.

Definitely and it would seem he's also trying to buck many other trends, which is part of the reason we're in this 'mess'.

I find people like you absolutely amazing. You are a classic case of burying your head in the sand type person. What will it actually take for people like you to realize we are in deep shit under Hyypia and Bloom refusing to sack him? Don't you look at the table like Hyypia? Can't you grasp the reality of what is going on?
The club loves customers like you who pay up and basically shut up.

Thank god for the moaners and whingers because without them Hyypia will probably still be here in a years time and prices continue to rise.
Ah now I understand why people keep moaning, because they really think that Hyypia and Bloom are listening. Think you'll find Bloom gives at least as big a shite as you do.

There's a very good debate on The Guardian's Football Weekly podcast, this week.

Centering around Arsenal but obviously the names can be changed to fit us, now.

The general point being questioned was:-

'What are the Arsenal fans upset about?'

Are they upset about the football or the simple fact they are completely powerless to do anything about it.
