Quite a few muppets out today then. A few sensible posts but the vast majority seem to be sharing a brain cell between them!!!

Hilarious that all the posts after this one are claiming its a good move by the club.
My only recollection of the ex Pompey eeyore is when Forest sent him on as sub to try to foul Will Buckley as much as he could.

The Halford move seems quite sensible to me.

It's the Gardner and Al-Habsi that is puzzling.

Al- Habsi is ok, but then what is the point of Casper?

Stockdale nearly played Saturday, but they err'd one the side of caution, so perhaps out for 2, perhaps 3 weeks.

Gardner given the number of midfielders on our books was a strange one. The fact he is hopeless and is no better than those he is keeping out, just exacerbates the situation.
It might be an idea to wait 2 to 3 weeks before deciding the extent of Stockdales injury and whether he needed to be replaced.
There's a reason why, since we have been able to afford them, the club has always had 3 competent keepers.
I don't see why that should change now.

Quite why anyone would want to play Russian roulette with only 2 keepers, in our current situation, is beyond me.

calm down dear, only answered a question.....not a mind reader !!!.....please don't swear at me while you're at it !!

I was shouting at the club more than you, please accept my apologies as it wasn't my intention to offend. I just can't believe I about to leave the office to watch "Premier League Ready" Albion with Forest discard Greg Halford in the ranks.

Let me see if I can help you:-

March - injured.
Stephens - injured.
Crofts - injured.
Stockdale - injured.
Hughes - injured.
Geek & Dunk - soon to be suspended
Kemy - injured (or shitehouse)
Toko - shitehouse (or injured)
Ward - choose Burnley, late.

Then add the really obvious one I always forget.
So what if greer and dunk are goner be suspended???
They're not suspended yet and I'm sure we can cope with ince or a couple of youngsters for 2/3 games christ...Why go out wasting money on loan players that are shite?
At the end of the day our recruiting just gets worse by the week and someone needs shipping out...I would rather we stuck COG in defense rather than wasting yet more money on pointless loans.

Sunderland fan here, had a season ticket when he played for us and often went away as well, pretty useless player, lazy with some interesting rumors going around as well. Keano said after he left he was one of the worst in training as well!

Finally the evidence that you are a comedy wind up merchant.

The comedy aspect has always been hard to see, until now.

Yes, a great disappointment was Greg Halford. He'd been so good at Colchester and I thought we'd signed a very good player. It turned out Steve Coppell had sussed him straight away hence Coppell quickly moving him on.
I thought he wasn't given a proper chance with us but it turned out he just wasn't up to scratch and had a terrible attitude.

Would rather you expanded on that rather than call me a wind up merchant???
The club moan about ffp all the time, but go and waste it on a useless defender.
We have options that can be used for a couple of games or so...We ain't going up and I doubt we're going down,so why waste money?

I suspect most would rather see a couple of youngsters play rather than this clown we've got for a month:nono:
