Ferguson was on over £5m a year which is probably more than the average but less than the likes of Rooney and RVP. Bear in mind that Bridge was on about £80k a year at City.

No wonder he went to Reading then!

Being friends with Gus stopped him from applying a year ago, apparently.

But it's now a year later and everyone's moved on.

I think he'd make a good manager. But would he uproot from the Midlands to here? It was commutable from Brum to Stamford Bridge - maybe his kids are at an age where they can now move.

Midlands to Cobham every day? Sure he could add an extra hour on to that trip

Discussion with who...aren't the key players in Faro?

Surely a man holding the position of Head of Football Operations at the club, can interview his next head coach?

His job description says he can " Managing the football aspects of the Club, on behalf of the Chairman "

It was Oscar who chose to stay with thje title of "head Coach", when the club offered to change it to manager. The new person will be appointed as "manager", I believe.

Didn't Poyet state he was on good terms with the club following the dropping of legal action / pay off sorted etc.?
Dont think RDM would have any issue coming here due to his relationship with Poyet.

If he did I missed that! Can someone confirm pls?

He wasn't on £150k/week. Managers don't get nearly as much as players. Moyes was on about £90k/week at United who probably pay some of the top salaries in the game.

I once heard SAF say that no player in his team would ever earn more than him.

So who knows?

Again another that I would be happy with, but honestly think it unlikely and he may have premiership aspirations

I can't see Bloom ever appointing anyone who is closely associated with Poyet.

Disagree. Bloom and Poyet aren't children. They had professional differences, nothing more nothing less.
