Interesting you should mention this date for your specious argument. Isn't it a significant year for your club? In fact the year your club was formed.

Yes it was and that was just 18 months after they failed to win the Championship Play Off finals in 2008 and were put into administration for owing £30 million. A good example of their hypocrisy about chasing dreams.

Padded seats, Glow sticks, song sheets, Jester hats, Clackers, Club song written on the back of clackers, club song Karaoke style on the big screen, Spanish Day, Magiko, Clapping Steven Gerrard because he warmed up, Joining In with You’ll Never Walk Alone, supporting two teams, voting for the EPPP, taking less than 5% (1/20) of your home gate to away games, paying 500k rent on your own stadium, losing £15m a year chasing the dream.

Brighton & Hove Albion, Keeping it real since 2010.

We have had some cheesey moments, fans didn't really take to them, so they didn't happen again. Your cheesey goal music, shouting back goal scorers names, and other pony practices have been going on for years.

Palace don't play goal music anymore. But I wouldn't expect Brighton fans to know that. After all, why would they want to watch our matches?

I did happen to watch the Liverpool match and wondered if you'd got rid of it.

Still got the call back nonsense though.

Opposition fans dislike us repeating the goalscorer as it rubs it in your faces that we have just scored.

I can only imagine the emotional scarring of that when you have to hear it 5 times with 3 of those going to the same player.

If you knew the first thing about the history of the Albion then you would know that we were happy simply to have a club to support that day, never mind one playing Championship football.

And I don't disagree with you, but you're not the first fans to dislike our naming of the goalscorer and the only reason is because it signifies we've just scored against you.

Maybe that day didn't hurt as much as I suspect it did, but that might be because the 0-2 last season replaced that anguish.

The 5-0 didn't hurt THAT much, given how gash we were at that time. The 0-2 on the other hand was bloody AWFUL, considering that we'd done the hard work in the 1st leg and had the better team on paper.

One good reason not to have goal music is that it makes you look rather silly when you score in stoppage-time at four-nil down.

Better team over the whole season, except the last 45 minutes
