If this is true and Orlandi is off, looks like wages may be playing a part in who goes as well as what they can offer on the pitch.

The PiG has been hinting for months that his agent was looking elsewhere so maybe not so much released by the club as him deciding to go (as he is entitled to). Certainly his recent form has been comparatively patchy but he has been exceptional value over the past two seasons. Good luck wherever he goes

His high standards did slip a little this season, so I understand why we are looking for alternatives.

One of my best memories was when he pull down the strikers shorts a few games ago when he was trying to sort out the wall for a free kick and the striker was standing in his way to block his view

Not sure who but I believe there must be, be nice to have a keep who actually catches and commands his area don't think Tom did. But we all have our opinions.

The difference in this area bewteem Tomaz and Lee Grant was very, very evident. I would love our keeper to play like that.

Wanted to stay, loves it in Brighton, but is not being offered a new deal (rightly, imo - better VALUE out there).
How much were Tom's wages, and who can we get for less? And will we get them on a free?

So. Our only good goalkeeper goes, with the other 2 not even Div2 Material..

Really? They did ok in our first season back in the Championship and whenever they've been called on in the last two seasons (bar a chuff-up against Hull).
They'll also probably be off in the in the next few days, but if they were to stay I wouldn't be unhappy if they were first choice for the new season and we could reinvest the money saved somewhere else.
The difference between Kuzcack and Ankergen/Brezovan was massive last season, i'm not sure it was there at all for most of this season

Correct.!..

Not sure what it has to do with the a simple fact i was merely pointing out..
I would of thought the 2 Muppet's would of left 1st that is all.

TK was always going to be the first one of the three putting his name out to prospective employers whereas the other two are more likely to be released so will wait until the retained list is done.

He must have been on a fair wedge because Poyet's magnetic personality wasn't the only thing attracting him to The Amex. If the club signs a player on a free there will be a signing on fee to factor into the overall salary of the player over the lifetime of the contract.

I guess being okay with this depends on the rationale behind it. If we can get the same quality at a lower cost than fine, but with this and Orlandi going are we in fact seeing the first of some drastic cut backs?
