We're better against the better teams and ANYTHING can happen in the play-offs.

We've played turgid, dull, boring football all season so I fully expect us go out there and bloody win the play offs. It's that kinda season.

I've been critical of Oscar in the past but I wouldn't want to complain whatever happens now. We've done what we set out to do. Perhaps it wasn't in the stylish manner of seasons past, but we've done it. OG's reaction to the goal has GREATLY encouraged me - We can go and play with no fear and total confidence now. We've got nothing to lose.

Sat with a a Derby fan watching our epic win today.
He was all praising early doors.
"We want to play you guys cos you play the game the right way".
That sort of thing.
Until we won and Adkins's tossers didn't.
Should have seen his attitude change.

Crapping him self now :)

This, combined with us being the underdogs, has me very excited for Thursday. Anything could happen

You can see why Derby fans would be confident, we've been on some good runs and I think over the season have proved ourselves to be a pretty good team. That said, I'm not sure that league position means anything now, it's a clean sheet of paper isn't it. I guess that we were able to rest players today helps but not significantly. May the best team win! Obviously I will be absolutely gutted if we get knocked out in the semi or final, but from a Derby perspective, we'll certainly look at this as a very good season whatever happens....

Understandably so. A few weeks back I thought it would be good to play them, but they've been great recently, while Wigan (the form team) started to stumble.

We're outsiders, but at least we're in it.

Oh, and this is worst case scenario for me, game that's 12 miles away that I have zero change of getting a ticket in the away end for. Will I take a ticket in the home end? Doubt it!!

I think it suits us having the away leg second, despite it being deemed a disadvantage. I believe we can do it, we are underdogs definitely but we're in it so we have a chance.

Don't exactly blame them, we've hardly steamed into the playoffs in a confident and deserved manner have we?

Absolutely this. Give us the advantage.

But the form and quality that meant Derby finished quite a way above us gives the Rams an advantage too!

Very, very difficult to call! :)

From their forum, about us,

'Pretty to watch, but quite pedestrian'.

I would argue the pretty bit.

Shame we didn't get QPR....Wigan and Derby are a bit dull.

Having Buckley, Lua Lua, Orlandi, CMS all back and getting match time lately is a big + for our chances

We've come through a pressure game today and won whereas last season we were comfortable and able to cruise into the play-offs and crumbled when we were finally put into a pressure situation, hopefully we are better equiped to cope with the pressure this season.

It will still be a difficult task to win through against Derby but the above must help our chances

On form I agree, but we were never expected to be there so nothing to lose. Not that I like to mention those up the road but we thought it was a done deal last season in the play offs and the rest is history. Just glad to have a chance.
