Since last year I reckon there's been about a dozen people say they've been told it's Adidas and the same amount for Nike :lolol:

Both Nike & adidas will mean we get a cheap-looking catalogue kit that's available to every pub team in the country, minus the badges & sponsor logo.

I guess that's the way things go these days. Sigh.

Disappointingly it is Nike I was told by a senior employee of Nike that it was all but signed. The hold up was the final decision on the 'package' we are perchasing, it likely to be three stripes shirt.

Happy it's a big corporate name .

All big clubs have them and we neeD it to contribute to a change in perceptions from us being a small club to a bigger one.

Little things like this help

I was sure Umbro stopped making kits as they were bought out by Nike? Hence why England, Man City, Refs - and everyone else who wore their shirts now how has a kit by Nike.

Umbro were owned by Nike for a number of years, they then sold them off last year, but not before snaffling all their contracts, England, Man City etc. Umbro are still about, just not doing many Pro teams in the UK

Deal with a new supplier has already been signed, rumour has it that it's Adidas.

Yes, its Nike.

i thought this had been announced?

Nike? I thought it was Adidas

It is definitely NOT Nike.

Have it from a very good source its Nike! They've even seen Tracksuits.

The guy in club shop told me it is Nike and to wait until August for the coat I went in there for.

Certainly seems to be more that have been told it's Nike than Adidas, I like the thought of a senior employee telling someone that it was "all but signed" and a bloke in the shop letting the cat out of the bag rather than making a sale of a coat. Sounds like both of them could become part of Barbers cost savings.

Hope it isn't Adidas or Nike as both just churn out 2 or 3 designs and then colour then accordingly spread over loads of clubs. Wouldn't mind puma and actually quite like a few of the Kappa ones recently

Everytime i think of Kappa, i have this mental image of a shirt with poppers up the sides.

Would rather Adidas than Nike .......... I refuse to buy Nike.

Likewise. If this happens, there will be holes in my collection until I can pick them up on eBay for 99p.

I heard from a reliable source it's Admiral (not our old kit maker but the insurance company). All of our sources couldn't possibly be wrong could they? I mean, we're all so sure and are vouching based on the word of a supposed insider.

I hope it's Umbro.
I hope we have a very basic blue and white striped home shirt (more blue than white)
I hope we have a pale pink with black trim away kit. Ala Palermo.

Umbro have done some very classy kits, I would love it if it was them, but in this FFP age we probably just took whoever offered the most money.

Make it Le Coq Sportif and I'll die a happy man :) Puma would be pretty cool also, though I won't be too miffed it is Adidas or Nike.

Puma don't do bespoke kits, there's about 10 clubs in the football league all with the same style shirt as Watfords home one, I like having a unique kit and want it to stay that way, although no doubt Barber and his shills will tell me otherwise.
