Sorry for silly question, but if he didn't get on, is he cup tied?

No idea but if we do get him it will be last minute in my view as their new manager will want to evaluate the squad he has inherited.

Not cup tied. Nathan Jones thinks Conway being on the bench news for our prospects

100% on first part. I am hoping the word good is missing in the second part.

I like Conway...but do we really need him? March really stepped up to the plate today and seems in the same mould as Conway.

Rumours that OGS will get Zaha on loan at Cardiff, must increase our chances of getting Conway back

Zaha in apparently, and 2 Nordic midfielders (not sure they are wingers though) coming in, so could increase chances. Although wages still a big problem from what we hear

The same one as me. I thought March did really well as he did against Norwich pre-season.
It is all a question of comparison, yes he did well in relation to what we expected from a young lad making a very rare appearance but is he ready to be thrown in
week in week out when we are expecting him to produce the goods for us to get promoted. No he isnt, he is better to be used as an unknown impact sub

Dont know which game you watched but he was ok but not a patch on Conway as regards crossing.

So March, like Rohan Ince, is not up to much eh BG? You'd prefer to see Andrews and Conway in the side? Not my view but each to his own.

Ince has come on leaps and bounds as I am sure March will but I wouldnt want too much pressure and expectation put on their shoulders and yes I would prefer Andrews and Conway in general and use Ince and March sparingly this season to build them up for the future

The problem there re March is that once Buckley is fit u hav 3 wingers ahead of him...he won't even get on the bench ..i always thought Conway was signed as cover for also say Orlandi..who is also now fit....anyway we won't have to wait long will we

Fair enough. A reasonable position to take I guess although both Ince and March are well capable I believe of coping with any pressure that they may be faced with in the weeks and months ahead. :amex:

Wasn't too impressed with Conway in his early outings but go better the longer he stayed here.

However, I wouldn't necessarily just go back and sign him without first seeing how much cash we bring in and exploring other options. A good player, certainly, but likely to want a relatively secure long-term(ish) contract and, if we have ideas about getting promoted, it might not be sensible to give him too long a deal if he isn't good enough for the Premier League.

March was brilliant, but getting Conway back is a definite must for me. March should be on the bench far more often, be brought on far more often. Conway should start.
