I am growing fond of him already. He has already publicly stated that Speroni plus 3 of the back four (both centre halves and left back) are not good enough - that's brilliant for team spirit up to the transfer window.

If Palace stay up I will stay off NSC for 6 months !

Has what he said been taken out of context ? Speroni and 75% of the defence are not good enough for the Premier League but will figure in his plans next season in a lower division ?

Nah ! it's a January fire sale (which is very appropriate for Croydon) I expect we will have to knock them back again on offers for most of our squad.

Loved the way he cut across Parish in the press conference to confirm Keith Millen would be staying, and loving his use of "they" rather than "we". This has potential...

Regardless of shit players it's hard to survive in the Prem when you've got a chairman with no vision who takes to social media when he gets the urge.

Unlikely, but possible. He knows how to organise a poor team.

No. They'll manage to beat Derby's record low total, as they'll scrape together a few more points against other lower table teams. Still can't see them finishing anything other than bottom over the season though, with Fulham and Hull also to join us back in the Championship next year.

My source in the north has told me that Palarse will be going after Jordan Rhodes in the January transfer window. Huddersfield have a 20% sell on clause and the rumour is they will bank £800k when Blackburn sell him to The Scum. Working out the figures that suggests a £12M fee. Pulis likes to spend

At this rate they will be selling Selhurst rather than doing it up :lolol:

I don't quite see it that way.

For me the question is:-

Does this season's Premier League contain 3 teams potentially worse than palace?

A) Yes.

Thank you. The way about half a dozen other clubs are playing (not including Sunderland) it could easily be three from eight this season.

20% of £12M is £2.4M, for Huddersfield to only recieve £800K the price would be £4M.
And that is half what Blackburn paid for him and half of what they paid for Gayle!

I thought that, but I believe the theory is it's 20% of the profit. Since he was sold to blackburn for 8m, and 800k is 20% of 4m, that would make a total of 12m.

A sell on clause means a club benefits from the difference they sold a player for and the price they are sold on for

Ok that adds up, but is that normal practice?

I don't know. I used to assume it meant a percentage of the full price, but a little while ago on here it seemed to be the difference that was counted. I suppose it depends on the deal in question.

At this rate they will be selling Selhurst rather than doing it up :lolol:

It has been reported that Pulis is going to bring in three of his own coaches, Millen is going to stay and it has been stated that Pulis can sign up to 5 more players in January. With the agents and transfer fees, plus wages for these additions and the money they spent in the summer, there cannot be much left of this years £63 million windfall. So Selhurst will have to remain the crumbling sh*thole for another year.
