The "false bonhomie" you get with loads of people wishing you Merry Christmas when in reality they couldn't give a shiny shite

I even hate this as I am forced to use my holiday when I don't want to take a holiday purely because the law says big shops can't open on that day!

I'd prefer to be working nothing else to do on the 25th, remember married to a Russian and for them it is January the 7th and New Year is a bigger celebration and they do that twice! (1st and 14th)

I just hate the fact we have it every year, If we only had Christmas once every 5 years I reckon we'd all enjoy it a bit more.

Turkey. Hate the bloody stuff. Only once a year am I forced to eat this dry, bland meat 'because it's traditional'. Either lamb and goose this year or I shall be forced to buy Turkey Twizzlers for the good lady. And before anyone spouts off about soaking it in brine for a month and shoving 4lbs of butter under its skin, WHY BOTHER?

I think what annoys be most is it's near the beginning of winter, and the rest of winter really drags. It would be ace if they moved it to 25th February.

Cheshire Cat

All of it, but especially the six month lead-in time.
