I agree with you Trig.

The pikey boys have bought badly and those players' wages will be eating into the parachute payments next year.

I can't see why any decent player, whether proven or upcoming would want to go there over other clubs, silly money aside.

The whole club and area is a dump, a true cesspit of forgotten life.

Had we gone up we would bought far better because just for starters, players would have wanted to come here, the stadium, the academy, the sea and the town itself.

I reckon if we had any 4 out of our injured 8 back right now we'd tonk them.

What a load of drive. First of all there's no way you'd tonk us. There's a massive difference between the championship and premiership and your hardly setting the championship alight this season are you? Truth be told with your full squad it would probably be fairly even as it was in the play offs.
Secondly, I know you're desperate to beat us with any stick you've got but saying we'd struggle to attract players because of where we're based is nonsense. The area around the ground is a bit of a dive these days but being a London club is ideal for attracting players, we're about 4/5 miles from places like Dulwich and Wandsworth as well being not that far from Surrey either. Players don't move into a bedsit next to the ground, its not the 1950s anymore.

It's not the 1950's, but you wouldn't know it looking at Selhurst, you will even have a 1950's style 2 points for a win points tally for the bottom team at the end of the season.

I would rather be in their position than ours.

Major, you are a WUM, you were funny for about a week and now it's just getting tedious.

Ravids, the Palace troll still pretending that he's a Brighton fan. You need to give up this pretense, you're fooling no-one.

Their home point average rises from 0.5 points a game to 0.66 points a game, and a few of the gimp gang return :lolol:

Lose at Hull and Norwich and it's game over for Palace, and time to start playing their academy side.

It was game over after they lost the 6 pointer against Fulham. Parking the bus against Everton has only resulted in them dropping further into the relegation zone as both the other bottom 3 teams won.

Apparently they have broken a record already - first team in the top flight to lose 7 consecutive games by 2 goals or more beating Charlton's 55 year old record.
Taking that record from the club who they call the clowns must hurt a bit.

The thing is though, to the unbiased which counts all of you lot out. Surely the question needs to be asked how they could not beat us if we were that limited, anyone who saw the game will tell you that not only could they not score but we really should have. But if thats the only excuse they can come up with, then good for them. Its just sour grapes

Just as well Palace are limited, as otherwise the administrators would come after the owners when they go bust.

No, the thing is, Everton had a bad day but palace, unusually, played out of their skins. Everton won't usually play that badly but palace will revert to being very limited.

Good. Good for you.

Shame then that Sunderland won and Stoke drew.

Play well, but get further adrift at the bottom.

Hull, Norwich, Cardiff and west ham coming up. Big, big games. You need lots of points from those, otherwise you could be down before the Xmas lights.

With your next 4 games being Hull, Norwich, West Ham & Cardiff, now's the time to step up, or ship out.

Oh and you'll not be getting a single point in February.

Putting rivalry to one side for a moment (as you are one of the decent Palace fans on NSC), do you lay the problems at Holloway's door, or the board? Hull weren't a great team last season, but have done well this season by making themselves tight at the back and nicking the odd result. Palace's team seem, judging by Holloway's comments, to have chucked the towel in very early. It's one thing to be up against it, we were that way when in the Championship at Withdean, but at least we fought hard, it must be galling to see your team not try.

From day 1 ollie didnt sort out the defence , that in my eyes is criminal . We conceded alot of goals last season and most palace fans were amazed he didnt get in good centre halfs to consolidate our weakness . We are trying , the players havent given up yet but confidence is low . The fans have been magnificent and if we can get a win soon it could be the spring board to who knows . The players we got in should be busting a gut but a few arent , luckily they wont be here next season ( hopefully in january ) but if we get in 2 or 3 really good players we might just yet escape . On the downside we get relegated but we will be in a better position than the begining of last season , we've got the victories over you to look forward to as well
