Even though we're clearly struggling in the Prem. Reading this thread has shown me once again he who laughs last certainly does laugh longest,
To rub your noses in it at the Amex after these types of threads make it all the more sweeter regardless what happens this season :rave:

Like I said I'll be back:wave:
Enjoy your 1 season in the Premier League!!

Shouldn't you be looking forward to the first day of next season? Your only hope now is that we don't get promoted.

That would be a palace nightmare.

Which is why so many of them are in denial and doing down our chances.

Brighton with '160 million', while palace slip down the leagues spending nothing on Selhurst with the parachute payments run out :lolol:

That will just about pay Bloom back.

Even if that were true and it all went straight to him, that would put us in a position where we were in the Premier League, with a fantastic new stadium, a superb state of the art academy and completely debt free. Doesn't sound so bad when compared to your situation, does it?

We don't need to, although I'm sure he'll get some of it back. The debt is even ring-fenced, and can't be called in if anything happens to Tony

I am genuinely interested into how it is ring fenced as he either owns it or he does not, maybe I am not knowledgeable enough about high finance but I still do not see how something can be legally ringfenced

hehe - there's the denial I mentioned grom the Jestermen.

They must put something in the Palace Ale.

Just remember that sentence when you pay up that one'r, its not denial on my part it is a genuine belief. The fact you think that someone who does not agree says that you think it is a certainty which I would suggest is slightly big headed.

You'll need to ask Tony, but I imagine it's all dealt with in his legacy.

He dealt with this issue at one of the fan meetings. Clearly it was an inappropriate subject to question him about in specific detail.

Fair enough. I'm feeling very confident about this season at the moment, no matter what sour faced predictions come out of south london.

Apologies if wrong, but your posting style and your constant reference to finance really remind me of Eaglejez on BBS, am I wrong in thinking you are the same poster?

I do not have an account on the BBS, many may not believe that but that is the truth.

I am genuinely interested. I know every Limited is protected as its own legal entity(I may not have explained that well enough) but if things went tits up for Tony then his shares would still be an asset and as such nothing is ever ring fenced.

Sorry mate we all know it wasn't a true reflection of last season and now it's coming true. You really are the laughing stock of the Prem this season, we are laughing match after match after match and so is the rest of the country. What's happening to your lot this season outweighs your one off victory last season by a mile, it's brilliant and long may it last.
