We made a decent team look poor, all the players performed well together with Kuzczak and Barnes amongst the top performers

Koosh 9 Brilliant saves at crucial times
Bruno 3 Is he on a contract "I must play if fit"
Greer 7 Solid
Upson 6 gave the ball away in first half improved in the second
Ward 7 Good game Mr reliable
Lopez 5 Not worth a starting spot. Weak link
Crofts 7 Nothing special but gets through the hard graft
Ince 8 Good all round performance. Somebody said he was poor in the air, but thought he won a lot of headers today.
JFC 8 Does the easy things and started scoring. Will be difficult to drop once the others are back
Conway 8 Best I have seen from him. Looked a threat when he had the ball. If he continues to improve Buckley will be bench at best.
Barnes 8 Took his time to get going but always gives 100% and grew into the game. Like to see him play behind Lita.

Lita 7 Watching from WSU you can see him peeling off his defender. Once we get used to his runs and playing regularly he will score the goals
Bridcutt 7 What can we say. Great to see him back
El Abd N/A He will be ready when needed. Never lets us down

Biggest plusses for me JFC and Ince. It was noticeable that these two move the ball quicker than anybody else. The way Oscar wants us to play. Can see them being a big part of Oscars plans

I had decided on the basis of previous performances that Conway wasn't up to it, but he had a good game today. JFC beginning to look like a first team player now. Great to see Bridders back!

Barnes 7 the worst of him for 34 mins then the best of him. Biggest problem I have with him is I feel he plays for himself not the team. Taking the penalty again today to break his duck shows it.

Not much to add other than:

Bruno- yes, he's a bit annoying because he does great stuff and then makes awful awful mistakes, however I admit he's improved in the last two games I've seen him and coming into form, so is now deserving of the position over Calde. Still a 6 at the mo tho.

Upson - dreadful passing and control often playing the ball into touch or straight to the opposition, a terrible first half, i dreaded the ball going near him. However, sorted himself out and improved 2nd half. 5

Barnes - still out of form, disagree with BBC's report "Barnes gave keeper Kean no chance with a sweetly struck spotkick" - I thought it would have been a v easy save if the keeper had gone the other way. Lucky. Moans too much (and stops playing while doing so!). Not a Barnes hater but not really a fan. Can't argue with 2 goals though and balls to take the (poorly taken) penalty.

Liam - Looked smooothhh when he came on, with a bit of luck he could be straight into good from? He seems such a "Brighton player" I really hope he stays. 8

Wouldn't say the pen was poor, he sent the goal keeper thee wrong way. Doesn't matter if it pea rolls
In if the keeper has dived the wrong way.

If I was a Blackburn fan I would be seriously worried about my club. 54 million quid in debt and going nowhere fast.

Anyone giving Bruno more than 5 needs glasses. He can't mark his winger and never tracks back. Thank god lopez helped him.
