Haven't seen too much evidence of Gus's passing game yet. Seems to be hoof to Fletcher.

In fairness, there's a reason for that. Fletcher is by far Sunderland's most effective player and their hopes of staying up hinge on his ability to stay fit and score goals. If he does stay fit, he can score 12-13 goals which could be the difference between them staying in the Premier League and going down. The trouble is, he is injury prone and when he doesn't play, they don't really have any other goal threat. Jozy Altidore is a handful, but he is a non-goalscoring handful.

I actually want Sunderland to win. I've forgiven Gus and wish him well, and also this would shove Palace face first to the bottom of the table.

Why forgive him when he hasn't apologised. It was a bitter state of affairs to begin with, and it's ended on a sour note as well.
